Can't instal silverlight onto ipad

If the creator of this app did not design an iPad interface to address the larger screen the only way you can use this app on the iPad is in iPhone-Display-Mode which is in portrait rotation.

The iPad displays a little (1X) or (2X) button in the lower right corner to switch between zoomed twice and regular view. That is not part of the app.

You can't do anything about this but nicely asked the author of the app to add an iPad interface to his app.

If you're using an iPad there is no way of getting flash on your ipad as there is no plugin for iOS products.

Try reseting the iPad by holding the home and power buttons simultaneously until the iPad completely shuts down and the Apple logo appears.


Once the Apple logo appears you can release the buttons. If this does not work, you may need to connect your iPad to your computer and do a factory restore using iTunes.

Use you iPad to surf its' website then download one. But i don't know whether it will work or not.

Apple will not allow true adobe flash to run on the IPAD or the IPAD 2. In the future they may let Microsoft Silverlight run on it, but as of now, both technologies are not supported. There are third party services out there being developed that will stream / proxy serve, flash content, but tend to be slow buggy and unpractical.
Right now the Blackberry Playbook is looking good as it has full support for flash.
I don't think you will ever see flash truly available for the IPAD as Apple is directly competing with Adobe. Their way to compete head to head would be to include silverlight support which is supposed to happen sometime this year. Its a political corporate battle and the customer is what suffers.

Mac and Mickey soft dont work well together.
You should download silver to a desktop with windows7 first, then try to copy to Mac then install , this may or may not work, its just an idea .OK. Hope this helps. Please let me know. Good luck Jakob..

You cannot download Microsoft Silverlight onto the iPad - is is a Microsoft technology that only works on some desktop browsers. It is, in general, a bit outdated, and very rarely used - What are you trying to do? There may well be a better way of doing it that the iPad supports.

Microsoft Silverlight is a plugin that only works on some desktop browsers. It is never going to be supported in Safari, because it is rapidly becoming outdated - content providers should be using more modern, efficient and faster technologies. Depending on what you are trying to do, there may be a native way of doing it - search for it in the App Store.
You cannot download IE because Microsoft do not make IE for the iPad. You cannot run MS Windows programs (.exe files) on the iPad. If you don't want to use Safari to browse the web, just search 'browser' in the App Store, and you'll find soma alternatives.
Just remember: The App Store is the only place you can get apps for your iPad!

Both silverlight and IE are for Windows based computers only. You will not be able to install either of them on an iPad.
