Power supply in set has a standby the runs 7/24 (all sets do and computers also) and the loss of power when restored may have damaged something there---a fuse is possible and should be looked at first---the Standby provides voltage for the remote to turn main supply and the set on.

The TV is on protect mode.

Try first leaving the TV power cord unplugged for some times, let say one hour or so.

Also ensure that the fault is not coming from a faulty receiver box sending bad signal, check if you get same problem with no receiver box or dvd connected.

If that does not work, and you keep having a flashing led on front of the TV, and tv turning off by itself after a while, that indicates a fault condition.

The flashing light indicates a diagnostic state called protection.
When the TV goes on protection there are only two possible reasons.

1The internal circuits are jammed because of electrostatic charges accumulating on capacitors, or because of a wrong voltage read by the main chip on your monitor controller board. this started the protection circuit.

2 The protection circuit detected a wrong voltage or abroken contact, identified an internal fault and kicked in , startingthe flashing light.

If you are in situation one, then theTV will reset just unplugging power cord for one or two hours, sometimes even minutes.

If you are in situation 2 , then there is an internal fault.

Common faults that can occur are a blown capacitor on power board, a convergence IC has blown, or a fault on Digital board.

Check also the video cable or any external connection cable, if the cable is shorting, or the connector is bad, you can get same flashing state because of the video cable.

If under warranty contact the manufacturer ringing the number on the user manual

If you want to repair at your own expenses, just locate any good qualified repairer.

It is the power supply. Replace the C97, C19, and C16 Capacitors with 2.2 uF ones.

SOURCE: Panasonic 32" HDTV keeps turning off

Check or have a repair tech check connectors AP1 and AP2. Vibration rattles the power supply board (a crappy design, as the board is almost "floating") and causes the wires in the connectors to break, and may make intermittent contact. Heat may also cause intemittent contact. A very common flaw.

SOURCE: panasonic viera tv won't turn on. Power light

hello, you have a either your su, sd or sc boards fualty and it is a driver sos1 thats what the manual reads the best thing to do if your not electronically inclined or able to fix it is to get a service manual and make sure it is for your specific model and size you will find what the 7 blink codes mean, on my side i have a 42 in pana the service manual for this set and your is similar so since it is not the same model i cant tell you exactly what the truoble is but your best bet is to find a service manual find the 7 blink fualt then without getting ripped off you will know what the service man needs to do if you dont know or cant replace the parts yourself that is besides having to download firmware from your computer to a sd card and update your set but you need to solve the blinking code first it may solve the entire issue. the tv should come on when you resolve the blink codes or replace the fualty board or boards

Sounds like a power supply regulator board fault. If the supply output from it is not normal, this kind of fault can occur. Contact any service technician. I am having Sanyo room AC model SA185 DX6. The AC was working when all of sudden it stopped working. I checked & found Circuit breaker had tripped. I turned on the Circuit breaker and started again,...

Hello, sounds like the compressor is shorting to ground, this means that one of the windings is making contact with tje shell of the compressor and making the breaker trip. The only option is to replace the compressor, you can check the windings by taking the cover off the compressor which holds the terminals, make sure the unit is unplugged and take one meter lead to each terminal and the other lead to a ground such as a screw you should have no resistance if the compressor is good, if the compressor is bad you will read resistance.

Circut Breaker Trips

If the fault were with the product, the breaker would trip right away. You have either a poor electrical connection (power supply) or a weak or undersized circuit breaker. Free standing ranges usually use a 50 amp double pole breaker. Check electrical connections at breaker, range recepticle, and power cord to range to make sure all are tight. (obviously, have breaker off when making these checks)

This set has LG insides, it will have failed on either the Y-Sustain PCB or the Z-Sustain PCB.

Quite common.

Repair estimates should be $250 - £350 depending on which has failed.

Stick it on eBay, it will fetch good money faulty.

HELLO, I NEED A POWER ADAPTER FOR A TASCAM DP-01! IF NOT, ONE THAT WOULD DO THE SAME AS THE TASCAM. I HERE THAT A ROLAND ADAPTER WOULD DO? VINCE M.D

You need a PS-1225 power adapter. According to them you should use only that power supply. It has +12 volts out at 2.5 amps. The center pin is + and the outside shaft is negative. It is 100 to 120 VAC at 15 watts power consumption. You may be able to use the supply for the newer DP-02. The 01 is discontinued. If you decide to make one yourself, make sure the specs are exactly the same and the polarity is correct and the plug size is perfect.

New dp 19648 sanyo hdtv no signal detected

You gotta have a way to get signal to the tv . If you don't want a outside antenna use rabbit ears .After you hook them up hide them behind the tv then do a channel scan. If you don't pick up all the stations set them on top and scan again or get satillite or cable hd boxes.
