Purchased from Orange online shop recently. The new SIM works fine (I have tried using it in my old phone handset and calls could be made). There is credit available to use. Each time I try to text or phone anyone, including Orange customer services on 450, either the message 'emergency calls only' or 'call/message failed' appears on the screen. The phone sometimes appears linked to the Orange-T-mobile network but still can't function as a phone. I know the signal in my area is good as I never had problems with my old Orange handset. It is also not receiving any form of messages or calls from anyone. The SIM has been confirmed activated by customer services and my number is active yet no one can contact me.

I think that is because of your service provider. Try with a different valid SIM card.

Steps to correct the MMS delivery time

1. Select Menu
2. Select Messages
3. Select Message settings
4. Select Picture Message
5. Select Sending options
6. Select Delivery
7. Select Immediately
8. Save the settings and retest sending MMS.

i have the same problem. i have been using this cell for about one year and suddenly this probelm has occured. if i put my sim in another cell phone, i can send messages with the same sim. otherwise, in this set, my messages are send to outbox and in resend state. i can recieve calls/messages but cannot send sms thrugh my samsung. please help! i have checked my message settings. they are all okay.
