DC Module? A bit more info please. What is the machine?

'DC Module' is pretty good speak, but correct is AC adapter.(Charger) Actually converts AC electricity into DC electricity. ALWAYS, when replacing an AC adapter make sure it has the SAME voltage. Amperage is also another factor, in that; It can be a little more than is required, but cannot be less. I have seen Replacement AC adapters, that are HALF of the Amperage that is required. Does NOT work. The thing I would like to approach here is the second statement, "just fitted a new dc moduel and a new screen will not power up" One; I need to know what the original problem was, and what steps you used to diagnose the problem? Two; I need to know if you have checked the DC Power Jack, for obvious signs of visual damage. Post back in a Comment. Also post the laptop manufacturer name, and model number. (Model number is on the Bottom of the laptop) Regards, joecoolvette

Black screen that can be seen with a flashlight

If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LED flashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. Please click on this link and follow my instructions to identify the fault and possible fix :-

Power light flashing white and orange

RAM has nothing to do with power, nor does the hard-drive, in a PC that has no power what-so-ever. FACT people.

The battery doesn't decide if it charges or powers up neither.
All rechargeable batteries only last ****** (a large number) of charge-recharge cycles. They'll all be fecked eventually (couple of years probably).

No power. You may not like and dismiss but, this is what's up:
1. Charger is fecked
2. DC Jack is fecked
3. Power components of the mother board are fecked

All you need is a multimeter to find out which. If its 3 you need a new laptop.

If there is a light, any light. Your charger and DC jack are fine. This proves that power is going through the charger and DC jack and its number 3.

If you've got a warranty, send it back.

Or bring it to someone with experience.

R60 Wont Charge

What's the make and model of your laptop? Most times the flashing lights will tell what the issue is.

If the laptop will not boot up so you can use it then the things below applies.

Sounds like your power cord is bad. Or the DC Jack is not soldered on good. Just because the power cord is new does not mean it works. Some Power Cords have a little green light on the adapter to show that it is plugged into the wall and getting power, check yours.

Anything ever post to the screen when you hit the power button? Do the fans start up, the hard drive spins? If not, maybe your power cord has enough power to emit a light but not enough to start the fan or disk drive.

If it's not the power cord or dc jack, then you have a Memory or Video Card issue.

OK after reading your post a 2nd time I think your only issue is that the battery is not charging, correct? If that is true the things below applies:

Either the battery is bad or the power cord is bad. Just because they are new don't mean they work. See if the Adapter portion of the power cord has a green indicator light that comes on when you plug it to an outlet. If it does, and that light is not on the power cord has issues. Also I hope you did not buy one of those one size fits all power cords from the big box stores where the end has a bag of different interchangable parts until you find one that fits into the laptop. If so, buy a power cord off ebay that is made for your laptop.

The battery might be bad and not hold a charge. I have seen new batteries that did not work.

Sorry my car was not listed so picked Altima 2003 Micra Intelligent key fob not working properly. Can drive the car but cannot open or lock the doors. Did get fob wet. Now dried out. Worked for first few...

You are going to need to check the power lock control moduel on the inside of the door panel. If the FOB appears to be working but the doors are not unlocking, you need to check this. I would also replace all fuses that control the locks. If both of these devices check out ok, you may need to replace your FOB. To check your power lock control moduel, manually lock and unlock your doors by pressing the lock button on the inside of the door. If it does not work, it is either the fuses or the power lock control moduel. If it works, your FOB has gone bad. Hope this helps! Please rate 4 thumbs up!

Charge isn't consistent. Orange light flashes instead of remaining on when charging.

Are you using the original ac power adapter, or one that is designed for use with your model to ensure that it is fitting tightly where it plugs into the laptop at the dc jack?
If so, the dc jack could be broken, which could prevent the battery from charging properly, resulting in the flashing amber light, which is indicating that the battery is still low and needs recharging.
Another possibility is that the battery is defective, but the more likely problem is the dc jack since it is such a common problem.
You can find a replacement dc jack here.
Good luck, please let me know if it helps.

You should install driver first, then connect printer when prompted, then install inks, as it needs the driver to tell it there are full inks fitted, refer to the manual.
