You might need to replace the Fuser Wiper Cover Assembly. The part number for the said part is 40X0001. Please contact any Lexmark Authorized Service Provider or contact our Technical Support Hotline.

Did you make sure you set cam & crank timing ? If the belt is off one tooth it will cause this. Recheck belt timing first.

Fuser error

Your machine is in need of a new fuser unit. HP LaserJet 2400 Maintenance Kit Installation - Fuser (Part 1 of 2) Installing the fuser. Turn the power off and unplug the printer. Wait 20 minutes for the printer to cool.
Open the back door of the printer, using enough force that the door opens completely and the hinge locks disengage, as shown below.

2400_openbackdoor.jpg Remove the 2 screws circled in red below.

2400_removebackscrews.jpg Close the back door, and then flip the printer so that it rests on its face. 2400_closebackdoor.jpg 2400_flipprinter.jpg

Next swing open the paper guard which shields the back of Tray 2 when it is installed.

2400_openpaperguard.jpg

Looking inside the Tray 2 cavity, use a flatblade screwdriver to release the two tabs--one on each side of the rear cover.
2400_pryleft_backgate.jpg 2400_pryright_backgate.jpg

Next remove the rear cover from the printer by pulling down and away.

2400_remove_rearcover.jpg

Fuser Installation Continued . . .
Pry the grey DIMM cover loose and remove it.

2400_removedimmcover.jpg

Use a small flatblade screwdriver to disengage the tab on the connector shown below and unplug the connector.

2400_unplugleftconnector.jpg

Next (on the right hand side) remove the small black plastic cover, located near the green fuser gear, which hides the other fuser wires.
2400_removewirecover1.jpg 2400_removewirecover2.jpg

Then unplug the two connectors shown below and free the yellow/white wire from its guide clasp.

2400_unplugrightconnectors.jpg

Now remove the four screws holding the fuser in place (shown below).

2400_removefuserscrews.jpg

Now remove the black plastic piece shown below, the duplexer inlet guide. Gently pry the tabs on both ends loose and slide/rotate the guide back towards the fuser to release it.
2400_removeduplexguide2.jpg 2400_removeduplexguide3.jpg

Now you can remove the fuser, just pull it straight out towards you. Don't install the new fuser until you've replaced the main motor gear, as shown below.

Replacing Fuser Drive Gear

With the fuser removed, look into the printer and locate the main fuser drive gear on the left side of the fuser cavity (gear circled in red below).

2400_geartoberemoved.jpg

Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the gear's release tab and remove the gear by sliding it off its metal bar.

2400_gearreleasetab.jpg 2400_removegear.jpg

Slide the new gear onto the metal bar--make sure the gear's release tab faces outwards so it will be accessible again--and lock the gear firmly in place.

Now repeat the fuser removal process backwards as you install the New Fuser:

Insert the new fuser and replace the four fuser screws. Replace the black plastic duplexer inlet guide, making sure both tabs click in place. Re-plug the single connector on the left side, and the two connectors on the right side. Replace the wire cover on the right side. Reinstall the DIMM cover. Finally, replace the back cover with its screws.

This is a difficult installation which should be done by a technician. Good luck with it !

Pilot light on the gas boiler won't stay lit it's

The pilot flame must touch (burn) the tip oqef the t-couple to hold the magnet in the gas value open.make sure the pilot orifice (hole) is clear.the pilot pressure (in the tube) is factory set full open & can only be adjusted down (less). Also check the gas **** didn't get closed or turned half way.? Assuming its not the t-couple. If all is good & it still won't stay on. Replace the gas value.!

Hi, It could be that you have the wrong omes 4 omes instead of 8. That means the amp has to put out more power to run those speakers. Check that you have the right omes. Good luck

I have a Dyson Animal DC28 and the wand won't pull out. This has just happened out of the blue - I was using it with no trouble up to now. I pull up and it just gets stuck. Any help would be...

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC28 Animal. From what you've described, it sounds as though the hose may have been twisted the last time you replaced the wand on the machine. This is easy to resolve by following these steps:
  • Extend the wand upwards as far as possible
  • With the rear of the cleaner facing you, follow the hose down to where it attaches to the cleaner
  • Whilst stretching the loose section of hose away from the cleaner, pull the hose release tab to detach the base of the hose from the cleaner
  • Allow the hose to untwist itself
You should now be able to pull the wand out to it's fullest extent, removing it from the cleaner. Once you've done this, simply reattach the lower end of the hose to the cleaner.

If you have any further questions, or if you'd prefer someone to talk you through this process, you can call us free on 1866MYDYSON.

Kind regards,

Jack

I have exactly the same problem as ammcgee What we can do? By ammcgee7 on Apr 20, 2011 My Nyko Wand for Wii will not sync properly. The two bottom lights for stay lit and device won't work at...

1) Open the battery compartment and there should be a small circular red button.

2) Next to the Wii's SD storage area there is a rectangular square button.

3) Hold down the red button on the controller and the red button on the Wii until the light on the controller stops blinking.

Sometimes it can take multiple tries to "sync" the controller with the Wii. Keep trying until the lights stop blinking.

Lexmark c522 printer stripes on page

thin, pencil-like stripes could call for the replacement of one or both of the following:
The drum cartridge or the fuser cartridge.
What few people seem to know is that there is usually a cleaning wand that goes above the fuser. This wand keeps the fuser clean and makes it last MUCH longer than without. When it gets really dirty it can actually aid in destroying the fuser rather than extending its life. If the lines JUST began to show up you may be able replace the wand and then hopefully the lines will begin to fade.
Here's the easiest way to tell which is causing the problem.
1. Carefully remove the cartridge from the unit. Underneath the cartridge is a small flap covering a (probably) green photo drum. Gently move it to expose the drum. If the drum has slightly off green lines or black lines in the same area your paper shows lines then you need to order another cartridge.
2. If the cartridge is clean, then remove the top panel that rests in the groove where the copied paper lays after the printer spits it out. It should slide to the left and lift out. Inside, there is a small (probably) black wand that has a small handle on one side that will lift out. Using a flashlight, look inside the machine. If the fuser is bad, it should have lines in the areas your copied paper is lined. If it does, replace the fuser.
