Computer unplugged from power, FOLLOW Anti-Static Precautions. Clean the inside of the computer out, and the Power Supply the best you can; with a can or two of compressed air for computers. Remove ALL ram memory module/s, and clean the gold plated contact pins with a pencil eraser. Let me know what happens in a Comment when done.

SOURCE: ASRock K7S41 / K7S41GX, sound 3 Beeps 3 times, then power off automatically

I had 3 beeps, pause, 3beeps, pause and so on.

Defective SMD transistor near the ATX power connector. Original is a 2SB1202 (marking B1202).
I bought a 2SB1203 which is stronger and soldered it in. The K7S41GX board runs as fresh as from the dealer.

SOURCE: no sound on computer, no beeps and no talking on videos

The good news is that driver detective should be easy enough to get your money back, but you'll most likely have to wait days or weeks to see it again.

As for the sound, Did the computer ever play sounds? Dell has a relatively easy to navigate driver download system on their website. You'll need your Service Tag (S/T) number to get the most correct driver.

If you follow this link, then click on Enter My Service Tag, it will take you where you need to go get drivers for the Dell.

you will need to have Flash installed on your computer for the website to work. You can download that free if you do not have it at www.adobe.com

SOURCE: beep sound continus

I went to google and it seems like the beeps can be problems for different problems in the hardware, this is what one message says,  there are lots of computer beeping answers out there: 1 short beep is your BIOS saying "HELLO I'M OK"

Standard Original IBM POST Error Codes

1 short beep Normal POST - system is ok
2 short beeps POST Error - error code shown on screen
No beep Power supply or system board problem
Continuous beep Power supply, system board, or keyboard problem
Repeating short beeps Power supply or system board problem
1 long, 1 short beep System board problem
1 long, 2 short beeps Display adapter problem (MDA, CGA)
1 long, 3 short beeps Enhanced Graphics Adapter (EGA)
3 long beeps keyboard card

Each BIOS company has modified these codes over the years.

SOURCE: no picture and desktop makes beeping sound

Base on the post codes this continuous beeping indicates a power problem. Atypically this is a power supply problem and it will need to be replaced.

My whirlpool white magic 650 P produces contineous beep sound while connected to the electric plug. However the power switch and light indicators on the mechine is not working.

Sounds like you have a control logic issue. Either a button on the control panel is stuck, or the control board is defective. Find the model number on the unit and post it in the comments please.

Try http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm first to find out which component is failing. If possible, take the cover off & reseat everything you can see. If all else fails, take it to a computer shop.

Hello, hetul58519

I installed some extra memory on my PC, didn't do it quit right and recieved a series of beeps untill I fixed what I had done incorrectly during the install. The beeping is the computer way of telling you something is not right, it is trying to audibally tell you what that is. Now, it is up to you to search for the hidden meaning behind the continuose beep. Do a search for "computer beeps" or "computer audio cues". Do you recieve any warnings other then the beep? Is the computer acting funny in any other way?

Check whether all connection are good and take out any CDs in the tray. I guess this must be a SMPS problem.

You said buzzing sound is this more like a beep? Beeping sound are indicative of any number of diagnosable issues, depending on the actual number of beeps and the type of motherboard.

Continous Beeping sound

Hi neosw,

Could you provide a little more detail?

Was this a previously working set-up or is this a new build?

If this was a previously working set-up have you changed anything?

When you switch on the PC
  • do you see anything on the screen, does the monitor remain in standby?
  • are any of the fans running?
  • does the hard drive spin up?
  • does the beeping sound stop after a short while?
The reason I ask these questions is because a continues beeping usually means that the BIOS is not seeing the processor, or that the power to the processor is not correct. With some BIOS manufactures it can also mean the processor clock speed is not set
correctly.

Please don't take this the wrong way but...if you provide greater detail in your question, the easier it for us to diagnose your problem, otherwise we can only make educated guesses.

I hope this has been of some help.

Regards,

Spare head 2

Monitor did not responding

When you first power on a computer it checks itself out for proper operation even before you see anything on the screen. This process is called Power On Self Test, as no video is yet displayed and moreover there may even be a video problem the computer sends out beeps over its internal speaker to indicate its status. Usually you will just hear one beep then the computer will "come to life", if however there are any problems you hear a series of beeps. For a description of these beeps and what they mean please click here. Hope this helps !!
