Open Question

After cleaning the drip pans don't align up correctly

Normal electric stove top. and they don't align up like before, they stick out and are tilted uneven.

    solution: you need to put the drip pan first then put the round circle one on last. if the round first then the pan is done it won't fit properly.

clock works because its only 110 volts.all else is a repair man the firstplace i would check is the cord.[power off]why there first the installers dont know how important it is for those cord screws to be very tight.consequintly the leave them looseish,and thats where they burn.if thats ok.make sure you have 220 there at the cord.God bless you,tom

if you remove the tube, it can be gently heated with a torch and the grease allowed to run out, after which, pass large amounts of hot hot water through the tube. to clean without removing, I find a speedometer cable works best to get a path through the pipe, then again, large amounts of hot hot water to flush out/clean the pipe

If the water has been dried up, it was most likely the drip pans. Water is non flammable, sorry i couldn't help myself. If water was the problem there would be sparks and buzzing noises first.

If your drip pans are chrome plated NO you can not put them in the oven during the self clean cycle since the chrome plating will be burned off PLEASE BE ADVISED the racks also need to be removed during the self clean since the chrome will burn off of them as well...if your drip pans are porcelean coated they could go in durning self clean.

When using the oven or especialy the broiler the outside of the stove (the part where the control panel is), right above the burner gets extremey hot so hot if you would touch it you would get a severe...

There is a vent pipe for the oven in the back usually just under the left rear burner, it is normal too get hot air there, if your drip pans are all solid you might want too change too pans that have holes in the center it should allow the top too breath a little better.

no it means that what ever spilled on the elemnet drip pan has not completely burnt itself off. replace the drip pan at first chance you get
