SOURCE: propane heater has spark but wont light

ODS/Pilot may be clogged make sure you clean it out according to the instructions in your owner's manual. If you need a copy of the manual let me know and I will try to find it for you. If it is still not working it could be the gas regulator or the ignitor cable. For Glow warm parts contact Master Parts at 800-446-1446 or you also can find them online at www.masterparts.net. I hope this helps you!

SOURCE: Glo Warm propane heater started

sounds like when you blew heater out with air compressor you moved brick so flame isn't hitting bottom of brick like they should. You should try and put brick back on top of flame so that you don't get to much heat on the refractory of the heater. The refractory will take the heat for awhile then refractory will start to break down. Then you will either have to install new refractory or replace heater

SOURCE: Glo Warm propane heater won't light

There is really not a lot to go wrong with the heater itself so my first guess would be that the regulator is bad, not letting the proper amount of gas through. You can check it for leaks with a bottlee of soapy water but even if you don't see a leak there is a rubber gasket inside with a pressure spring that is probably bad.

Sounds like the thermocouple is not working or you are not keeping the start or pilot button depressed long enough before turning gas valve to on position. Check to see if thermocouple end hasn't come loose, the pilot should be hitting it. This produces the small electrical current necessary to open gas valve. Hope this helps.

You will need to change the thermocouple. It is the copper probe that goes from gas valve to flame. Any good farm store should have one.

Kozy world propane wall heater. The pilot light will work

Sounds like you have a common problem with infrared heaters. They are very dust sensitive and they will light and then go out when they are dusty. If you have already tried to blow it out at home you need to take the heater to your propane dealer who will take the heater apart and blow it out correctly. They will then hook it up to their gas line and make sure that the problem is fixed. I hope that you haven't blown up into the bottom of the heater where the gas line is connected. There is a diaphragm up in there and if you blow into it you risk messing it up to where it won't work at all.
