1) EHT not fired 2) CRT tube - No heater on 3) NO display

if no heater on crt tube the tendency was no display, that means the oscillation is not working and therefore fly back transformer will not work. now how are you going to locate the problem first you need to check the regulator if good then the horizontal out put transistor if it is not shorted. if one of this major part is defective circuit will not work. vertical section will just only wait to the horizontal output to oscillate. and every section will work after horizontal oscillate. good luck hope it will help you.

My heater is blowing cold air.

Check a thing called a "Thermal Fuse" a little cylinder, or the like, in the Phase, somewhere, test to see if it is Open Circuit, It should be a Short, normally. If "Open" you need to replace it.

Everstar mpk 10 cr 1 manual, have an error code of P-1

It means that the little drawer for the water on the side is full of water or that it is not closed completly. In the water drawer there is a switch that makes it turn off the AC if it is running ,then it will give you a P1 code.

Make sure the water drawer is empty of water then. put the drawer back in carefully and gently, the switch that is built into the drawer will make contacts and your problem should go away. you might have to unplug the unit from the wall for it to clear the problem after doing the above steps.

Also here is a link to their site, Midea the company that makes these MPK-10CR units. For the owners manuel http://www.supportuscenter.com/documents/MPK_Manual.pdf

Don't know how much water to use

Do not put any water in the unit, the water that is in the unit drawer or bucket that is attached to the hose is a byproduct of the air conditioning process.

It transfers heat to cold and in the process produces condensation = Water.
