Question about Cuisinart CBK-200 Bread Maker

Open Question

Cuisinart cbk-200 is not kneading but instead the four 12 volt relays on the main circuit board just click, motor will turn on randomly but seldom. Belt is connected properly. Cuisinart told me the cbk-200 are not repairable by them and that no parts are available, which I asked "is this a landfill item?" and She said yes it is! Thanks cuisinart for your support and backing of your products.

The FixYa Team wanted me to add more details. My first cuisinart cbk-200 only lasted until one month after warranty and it had exactly the same problem, this one was sent to me last year after sending first one back. Here is how it goeafter selecting any option for making bread, It will attempt to turn paddle then it will immediately start clicking and it will continue this way throughout the kneading cycle, it will go through rise and bake cycle but not knead. Every once in a while during kneading the motor will spin (seldom) in the fast mode. The motor spins freely when manually moved. There are no visible signs of component heating on circuit board. During the clicking sound I am getting a 12 volt pulse reading on the imput of the coil that feeds the motor but no output voltage. I removed coil and applied 12 volts to the input and the coil is functioning properly. Without schematic I can only guess. Can you find me a schematic for main board? Thanks.

SOURCE: I have a cuisinart CBK

some machines do just rotate in one direction and that is enough to knead the dough. Was the final result (the baked loaf) not satisfactory?

Cuisinart CBK-200 won't heat at all

Try replacing the small transistor 9013 on the lower circuit board. On the circuit it will say heater near certain wires and there will be a big black box relay that turns the heater on and off. I got my transistors from fairchild semiconductor. The circuits are below the control panel on the right hand side.

My breadmaker makes a clicking sound when started but does not knead.

That is normal. It is warming up and that is the clicking sound you hear. It should start after a few minutes (less than 30 minutes is normal).

Clicking noise when on the knead cycle and the kneading paddle doesn't turn at all. I have only had the machine for 1 year and no longer have any receipts.

I am having the same problem. I just purchased my machine last week. I made regular white bread last week and it worked great, but today I tried to make whole wheat bread and it froze. Any solutions for this?

Mix cycle does not mix add ins evenly or thoroughly. Nuts and seeds are mostly left in bottom of pan or lumped in a few spots in the bread

Check the belt on the motor. It could be lose or has fallen off. Also check the motor to see that it turns in a kneading cycle and check to see if you can spin the paddle freely by hand. Hank
