Thankfully the new WP8 has more options than the old WP7 where only one screen display resolution was allowed, which I found really frustrating. Now the WP8 supports 3 options;

1. 1. WXGA (1,280 x 768),

2. 2. 720p (1,280 x 720)

3. 3. WVGA standard

How can i get the internet drivers and how to fix the resolution after down grading from windows 8

For Internet drivers you would need to download the driver from the manufactures website, then finding your specific model of computer. And download the driver using a different Computer with Internet capabilities. Or if your laptop / pc came with a setup disk, which should have all the basic drivers you need to get up and going.

As for the screen screen resolution problem, on the desktop anywhere right click and select "Screen Resolution" > Select desired / supported resolution ? apply / ok.

I can help you better if I know what model of computer your trying to fix, please ?

Kind Regards,

How do i make my resolution greater on windows 8?

Hi there. To get to the resolution settings on Windows 8, first bring up the 'Charms' bar on the right hand side of the screen (either swipe from the right for touch screen devices, or hover the mouse pointer in the bottom right or top right of the screen for desktop users). When the Charm bar slides out, click on Settings, and at the bottom of this next menu that slides out, click on 'Change PC settings' - this will bring up the Windows 8 Settings menu. Next you'll see a list of options on the left to choose from. Select 'PC and Devices', then select 'Display'. This should give you the resolutions settings to tinker with. :)

Recommended resolution

Most likely your video card will not support that kind of resolution through that monitor. I did not see where you mentioned the card or not, but it takes a good graphics card to push that kind of resolution.

Assuming that it is not a hardware problem, in Windows XP (or in most Windows version), you need to increase your display screen resolution. To do this, pls click on any clear area of your desktop. Click on Properties, click on the Settings tab, move the Screen resolution slider towards the right. Tha maximum resolution of your Acer LCD is 1280 x 1024. Set it to your preference/allowable. Click on Apply button, click on Yes button, OK.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
