We got the top pole back to front..how to separate the poles ?

As silly and bizarre as this may sound... just take the pole and raise it to shoulder height and throw onto the grass at an angle. It may take a few attempts but the pole WILL come apart. I know you think I'm crazy ...but it does work. It's almost like a Chinese finger trap.

What is the best roof support system for a 2 car garage

Steel beams will need to be used if you want open space with no poles. Laminated beams can also be used but support poles will have to be added. Build a truss roof over top and do away with the flat roof.

I have a disney princess tent that goes over a twin bed and i lost the instructions to putting it together and i need help.

  • 1

Remove the tent and poles from the packaging. Select an indoor area with a high ceiling or an outdoor area without overhead obstacles. The poles are not excessively long but they will be difficult to assemble without space.

  • 2

Lay the Princess tent with the floor on the ground. Pull on each corner to tighten the floor. Assemble the two tent poles by inserting the male sections into the metal ferrules.

  • 3

Slide one pole through each of the diagonal sleeves. Place the end of each pole in the fabric pockets on the corners. This will flex the poles and raise the tent body.

  • 4

Place the fabric roof on top of the tent. Attach the hooks on each corner of the roof to the loops on the top of the pole sleeves. The roof fabric will stretch tight and cover the ventilation gap in the tent ceiling.

Can not assemble the poles that hold the roof up.

My diagram showed holes in the roof section that would accommodate the round peg-like nub on the pillar. Without the hole it was impossible to get it to fit. Given that you will be screwing both the top and bottom rear pillars to the roof and the base anyway, I saw no need for the peg-llke nubs. I cut them off and screwed everything together as per instructions. Works perfectly.

    Putting it together

Ok these are tricky, so what you need to do is check your poles and connectors. You should have long poles and assorted connectors.
A bit of mathematics and you'll have it done in no time.
Ok lay out the poles and sort into longs and shorts.
Sort the connectors into 2 pole connectors (straights) and 3 pole connectors (three way)
Now check the angles on the three way connectors, sort them into groups. some should be slightly angled, these are the roof connectors and the others ones are 90 degrees and or more squarish these are the floor corner connectors. There should be 4 floor corner connectors and There will be two connectors that fit onto the end of roof front and back of the tent.
Sort out your poles and work out how many you need for each dimention. Basically your tent is a cube with a triangular prism on the top so you will need enough poles of even length to make the base and top bit of the cube and then even lengths of poles to make the upright sides of your cube. There should also be 4 four way connectors for attaching the roof. the top of you cube is the base of the triangluar prism.
Hope this helps. TIP once you get this together, MARK the conections with NUMBERS EG: 2 / 2 / 2 one number on each bit (the connector and each pole that is attached to it), this way when you pull it apart you can reconnect it much easier later on.

How do u erect a lichfield challenger 5 tent ?

Peg out 2 back pegs of inner tent. Peg out 2 front then side pegs. Place smaller pointed pole through hole at bell end of inner tent from inside, longer pole through hole at front.Fit protective bases to each pole. Top pointed poles with separators. Assemble roof pole, put through loop and over separators. Throw outer tent over from bell end (needs 2 people) then carefully lead towards front til holes in roof match - back hole first. Fit rain hoods front and back. Peg outer tent from bell end first then back corners, front corners then sides. Place porch poles through holes at front of porch, zip door sides down with one person holding poles upright and taut and peg out door. Peg sides all along making sure they do not touch inner tent. Fix guy ropes.

How to put up a coleman tucana tent

Wow. They put more and more stuff on tents. I'll give it a try based on a photo I found.

First, peg the four corners down. This will help it from moving around.

Find the two longest poles. These are your main supports and once you get them in, you can use the tent without the fancy rain cover (if you want to). They should run diagonally from the corner's you pegged. Start at one corner and slide the poles through the sleeves in the top of the tent towards the opposite corner.

The next two longest go from back to front. They do not cross diagonally. Slide these into their sleeves.

Now the hardest part. Slide a pole into a peg hole or a pin (if your poles have holes in the bottom), then bend the pole and attach it to it's corresponding corner. Just let the bent poles lay on the ground. Do the same with the others. It shouldn't matter which poles go up first, but I would do the diagonals myself, then the side supports. Once these 4 poles are up, you're in business.

To attach the monster rain cover flip the whole thing over the top and figure out which side goes to the door. It looks like the lantern is on the right front.

It looks like you should have two poles left. One may be the same size as the side support poles, or very close to it. This is the front door pole. The smallest pole is the side roof support.

Slide the front door sleeve through it's sleeve, then attach it to the pins or holes where the diagonally support poles are. They should have two pins in this spot, one for ea pole. Next, slide the side support pole side to side under the roof, but over the tent. It should have little pockets to put the pole into. Last, you'll have to bungie the hooks to the little rings at each corner of the rain cover. Forget all the strings, unless you want to stake them out to stretch your tent a little. Hope this helped.
