Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
It could be the case that there is a connectivity issue between the print head and the electrical connections that touch the print head
electrical connections when it is inserted into the printer. Sometimes
over time the contacts in the printer carriage can get a bit dirty and
so the electrical contact is broken.
If you take out the printhead and gently wipe the carriage contacts with a slighty damp (dampen with a little cold water) lint-free cloth this might remove an impediment to connection.
