Question about Televison & Video
If you turn the TV off at the switch and then turn it back on a few minutes later a white light would be shown then followed immediately by one red light then the TV loses it's power and turns off. It does not even show a picture or have any sound. I have replaced dodgy looking capacitors and cleaned the dust out but still no go. Someone please help!
If the caps you replaced were on the power board how many and what brand or model is the set?

SOURCE: Lamp problem or else?
You need to get the ballast repair kit #LSUC0002 and replace the parts to your ballast.
I have the exact same TV, did the above this past weekend, and the TV works like new.
You need to know how to solder though. It's not that hard.
