A number of possible causes for the line---good it is not black as that is usually bad news.

To begin with it can be a loose or not properly seated plug inside the set and I usually look for any with cloth tape on them first.

the board/s that connect to the display panel often exhibit or cause this problem also----some very very gentle probing with a plastic tool and the set on can sometimes locate the area.

Other than that approach the issue can be inside the display panel itself-where it cannot be got at, the makers often use a hot glue like material to secure the connections inside and it can come loose from heat and expansion which are normal issues.

That is fatal as you cannot get at it but must replace the entire display panel--cost of part exceeds cost of new set in that case.

SOURCE: Horizontal white lines at top of screen.

This problem is generally due to aged Electrolytic capacitors in the Vertical section. Again, to save time, I invariably replace all the 8-10 El caps in this stage at one go. solves the problem, saves time, and also protects the customer from bringing in the machine again in another 2-3 months, for another bad capacitor problem.

Riding Mower No Start Troubleshooting

  • First check the air filter to see if it getting air and gas.
  • Check your gas cap. If your gas cap is clogged, your fuel tank can get a vapor lock, and you will have no gas flow. Loosen the gas cap to see if it will run longer.
  • Check the gas filter (if you have one on the mower) to be sure it is clean and has good gas flow.
  • Check to see if you are getting spark at the plug. Check out the video below.

If the engine clicks but will not start, the battery or solenoid is often to blame. To find the battery on a riding lawn mower:

  • The battery may be under the hood
  • The battery may be located under the seat
  • You may need to lift the hood to find the solenoid
  • Check the owner's manual for the battery or solenoid location

Check to see that all wires are securely connected and that the terminals are clean.

If the lawn mower still does not start, the problem may be with the fuel, if it was left in the mower over the winter months the fuel may have become stale or watered.. If the fuel appears dirty or contains water, you will need to drain the fuel tank and replace with fresh gasoline.

Other reasons for the mower not to starting also include:

  • Damaged or loose wiring
  • Problems in the carburetor
  • Maladjusted or damaged engine valves
  • A blown fuse
  • Ignition switch may be faulty

My refrigerator is wider than the doorway

Remove the bottom kick plate . Remove both top hinge covers with a phillips screwdriver . At the bottom of the freezer door , follow the white water line about 6 " and push in on the white ring while pulling out on the tubing . Disconnect the wiring plug there also . Remove the top hinge screws and pull up on the door to allow removal of the water line AND the wiring . Remove the top screws on the refrig door and lift up to remove . After installation , install in reverse order .

White Horizontal Lines near the top of my Screen

this symptom is what we called vertical fold-over. vertical fold-over is characterised by a white horizontal bar on the bottom or top of the raster due to the concentration or compression of the trace lines. it an image is present, the bottom or top portion is fold over. this is caused by a vertical deflection current with poor linearity, which compresses the trace lines at the bottom or top of the screen. this symptom is is caused by a defective sawtooth wave genetator circuit, or improper biasing or defective feedback circuit of the vertical drive or vertical output transistor/ic. the negative feedback circuit in vertical deflection circuit compensates for the linearity of the trace portion of the sawtooth wave. a decrease in the capacitance of the sawtooth generator capacitor is usually the trouble. but if you do not understand anything what i have written here, better bring it to a qualified tv technician for your own safety also. good luck!
