There has to be a destination when you save. Go to My Computer and check what drives you have. A typical setup is C (local hard drive) and D (CD \ DVD drive). Now how how much free space is on local C and any other hard drive. Right click drive letter > Properties.

Hi Jose Diaz thanks for your help l have 385 gig of free space in C drive l also ran a disc clean

Where are you downloading to?

New drives have to be readied for use. Try Start > Run (aka Search in Win 7) type dskmgmt.msc. Look for your drive there. It should be without a drive letter. Right clicking will give you the options of initializing, creating disc partitions, assigning logical drives, and formatting. If this seems a little daunting. A wizard should load. If not there is refresh icon on the toolbar.

SOURCE: my laptop not use a pirated or copy dvd

While it's not legal to download, and burn DVD's illegally, if your rom has issues reading burned DVD / CD data, your drive may be faulty, or just needs to be blown out. Use a can of compressed air available from most office supply stores and blow any dust or debris out of the drive. Be careful not to touch the Lense, they are quite delacate.

If your drive still fails to read burned media, but does fine with normal media, the drive may not be able to read burned media at all, and you will need to replace it to do so.

Having issues installing clash of kings by elex wireless says i dont have enough space yet i have 3.5 gigs free on tab and 15 gigs on an sd card why am i always getting failed to load not enough space

Get rid of all data that you no longer need or apps you never use. The space warning means that the download exceeds the memory capacity of whatever you have left free, downloads are not sent to the SD card so that doesn't come into play as far as available storage goes on this device.

My Apple iPad 2 won't update. It's running iOS 9.

It may be too full. Check how much free space you have. Try to have approximately 3GB free. Delete things that are easy to replace like apps, or music you can download again.

My aspire one keeps saying 0 memory space left, and wont run certain programs.Tryed to restore to factory settings by pressing f10 button but this doesnt work

Hi

I think to restore your aspire one back to factory settings i believe you have to do this

BUT BEFORE YOU DO THIS

Make sure that you save all your photo's or files etc either to a disk or pendrive or your d drive if you hard drive is split
because back to factory settings is good
but it is exactly back to factory settings with nothing that you have put on it
everything that you put or left on the c.drive will be erased
that is why i said save anything that you want or need saving

But it also sounds a little like the fact that you may have a memory issue
or that your hard drive has too much on it and not enough free space left to run other programes

one needs to have about 10 gig of free space on the hard drive in order for things to run smoothly

so it may pay you to remove some of the stuff that you may have stored on the c drive
or remove some of the programes if you dont use them all
and do a defrag this may help to give you more space

to do a defrag

go to
start
all programes
accessories
system tools
go over and down to defragmenter
click on it and defrag the laptop and if its the ist time you have done it
wait quite a long time in fact ist time could take anywhere from 45 mins up to 2/3 hrs
also it may pay you to right click the defrag link and send it to or copy it to your desktop so that you can defrag say once a month to help things run smoothly

To go back to factory settings
go to your start tab bottom left of your screen
then go to all properties
go over and down to acer empowering technology
then acer erocovery management
click on the erocovery management
and following the onscreen instructions

good luck
hope this sorts things out for you
please let us know if fixya has fixed it for ya

May be your pendrive has corrupted the files or may be your pendrive has some viruses.
I suggest u not to use so much memory on pendrives as sometime pendrive automatically corrupt your data.Use small memory of pendrive. If u want to use big memory it's better u use hard drives

My acer aspire 4520 all of a sudden would not turn on one day. When the power button is pushed, the little battery light in the left corner on the bottom of the keyboard will flash orange and nothing will...

You may have a bad DC connection:

Symptoms of a broken power jack
1. If you wiggle the power cord or the AC Adapter connector on the back of the laptop, the power LED and battery charge LED start to flicker.
2. Battery will not charge in the laptop.
3. Laptop runs fine off a charged battery.
4. With the AC Adapter connected the laptop appears to be dead.
No power LED or battery charge LED activity.
5. Laptop randomly powers off without any warning.

If your laptop is out of warranty, then you can fix the problem by re-soldering DC-IN jack on the system board. If it

Is there a way to improve my processors velocity?? like a boost?

This is what others thing about the laptop, worth a read I think:

Pros: Good specs for the money, even though its a lower end Dual-Core processor, its still good compared to others. Excellent Wifi card. Size and Weight are ideal for transporting, it fits in a backpack and is very light. Very slick looks. The quick access buttons at the top are pretty neat. Very easy to connect to external project or TV, it literally takes a push of a button.

Cons: You have to be patient when using this laptop, the boot-up and shutdown times are very slow, I don't know if thats Vista's fault in design or if its just slow. 1 Gig of Ram is only minimum and you can feel it too. The processor, as I said, was one of the lower end Dual-Cores. Only 3 USB slots, I would prefer having on of the right side instead of left so the mouse cord doesn't get in the way. The bundled software is annoying. There is so much of it too, couldn't Acer have put all their software in 1 folder, instead of clogging up the start menu, same with the Vista software. The harddrive is 80 Gigs, but don't expect that much storage. Vista alone takes a large chunk of that for a hidden Backup partition. You really only get about 50-60 Gigabytes of storage. That is my biggest annoyance.

Other Thoughts: I'm not a very patient person, so I'll be looking to upgrade the Ram. Before that, I'll probably try to remove all the unwanted software. Its a solid laptop for student use, definitely not for gaming. If you want to play any somewhat recent games, even at low settings, the graphics chip will not meet the minimum requirements, and with Vista, even 1 gig Ram might not be enough. All in all its a quality laptop.
I think the last paragraph covers your problem.
Hope this helps.

My acer laptop has 160 gig memory but i can only use 80 how do i make it all available

Most likely, your partitions are simply sized wrong. If you have Windows Vista go to:
Control Panel>System and Maintenance>Administrative Tools>Computer Management

In Computer Management look at the list on the left and click on storage and go to Disk Management and look to see if the entire disk is partitioned. I will talk about what to do if there are two partitions in a moment, but for now, lets assume that you have an 80GB Windows partition and around 70GB of empty space.

Right click on the Windows partition and click expand and simply follow the instructions in the Wizard.

Now, lets say there is a partition sitting there. Most likely, if it's there, you're using it without noticing that you are. Make sure there is nothing on it. If the partition is empty, right click and delete it and follow the instructions I provided above.

Now, if you have Windows XP... well I'll just wait for your feedback because this explanation is even longer.
