Hello,
You can download the drivers from ASUS WEB site. http://usa.asus.com/index.aspx
So please go there website

For download click here

Or http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

Suppose, you need driver for, ASUS K8V-VM

Product =Mother Board
So Series = (Socket NO.eg. 754 etc.)
So Model = (Model no will be K8v-vm)

And please select the O.S (XP / VISTA / WINDOWS 7) version of the drivers that matches your P.C and search.
Now you can download easily one after on
You can use usb audio.or can install a 5.1 creative sound card..
Hope it will help you.

After reformatting my ASUS P5VDC-MX lost sound.

That would be expected, because as mentioned above, its a motherboard manufactured for Fujitsu-Siemens, not maintained or supported by ASUS !!

The drivers can be obtainedfrom the chip vendors whose products are used on the board. ASUSdoesn't make Intel or Realtek chips.

Intel 845GE/ICH4 =
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx

Realtek ALC65x AC97 Audio =
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/

Realtek RTL8101L LAN =
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/

Windows Update will have fairly recent drivers for every device on this board. Additionally, FSC maintained an all-encompassing driver update package for Scaleo models active between 2004 ~ 2006:

http://www3.fujitsu-siemens.com/services/homepc/scaleo.zip (76MB)

I sincerely hope that one of the above will work................sodeep

Mother board driver problem...

You will need to open the computer case and look for the model number on the motherboard. Usually it will be in bigger font than other text. When you find it, you will need to search google for that model number and get the drivers from the manufacturer website and install them.
