1.To set the time hold the mode button until the alarm flashes, then hit it one more time and the time will flash to be changed. Once the alram or time is flashing use the ST/STP button to navigate between hour, minute, month, day and day of the week, the ADJ button changes the numbers.
2.While holding down the ADJ button use the ST/STP button to turn off the hourly CHIME and the ALARM chime.
Hope this helps!! K~~

he following labels are on the inner ring of the watch; I've given
their positions relative to where numbers would be on the face of an
"ST/STP" is at 2:00; "EL" is at 4:00; "MODE" is at 8:00; and "ADJ" is at 10:00.
To set the time, date, and day of week:
Press and hold in the "MODE" button until the display starts flashing. (This is the alarm time.)
Press the "MODE" button again; the seconds begin flashing. Press "ADJ" to set them to zero.
Press the ""ST/STP" button to change what you want to set. The options appear in this order each time you press the "ST/STP" button: minutes, hour, month, day, day of week.
Use the "ADJ" button to change the value of the setting.
Touch "MODE" to save the settings and return to time mode.
The website listed below has many instruction sheets, but does NOT have instructions for this watch as of 25 December 2008.

Purchased my Armitron men's digtal watch in 2009. Here's the twist on setting the name of the Day of the Week on my watch. When you get to the name of the Day of the Week flashing.. you don't get Su...Mo...Tu... You get 01..02..03... up through 99. (You think.. what the hell is this??) DON'T TRY TO SET Sun.. Mon.. etc here.. you won't find it. The puzzle solver..and it is.. IS TO SET THE LAST TWO DIGITS OF THE YEAR HERE.. Example... it is now 2010.. so scroll thru the numbers and set it to "10"!! Now.. when you go and set the numerical day date e.g. 3 for March, and set the numerical day - e.g. 15, the on-board computer?? in the watch will AUTOMATICALLY SET THE NAME OF THE WEEK!! It will look-up For Example.. in the year 2010.. 3-14 is SUN.. and will set it as that!! Hope this saves you some frustration. Regards... email@example.com (Mar 14, 2010)

mcdevito75 here, One of the buttons should show MODE on the case of the watch, press that MODE button and see flashing, now press the set button to set time, each function you set, Time, day, date you have to pess the MODE button again to move onmto the mext function. Once all the functions are set press mode again and see a steady display.

mcdevito75 here, The stem has 2 positions, Carefully slip a fingernail under the stem and lift, it may take a few trys to get used to it, in this first position you should be able to set the DATE very easily and Maybe the DAY of the wwek also, turn the stem 1 way to change the DATE and the other way For the DAY of the week., Let"s figure you can only set the DATE in this first position, First thig to do is set the DAY of the week, go thru the watches 24 hour cycle and set the DAY to 1 DAY before the DAY you need, now in that first position of the stem, set the DATE to 1 DATE before the DATE you need, now in the 2nd position we all know pull the stem out to set the time of day, go thru the 24 hour cycle to bring up the DAY of the week and DATE you need. Now your watch is set and will change on tome at around mid-nite.
