Question about Uniden Cordless Phone
Our Uniden cordless phone has been working fine for 2 years, and suddenly the base control LCD is flashing between 0 & 88, and whenever I try to make a call on any of the cordless phones that connect to it, it doesn't work & says 'Out Of Range' on the phone LCD. I've disconnected it, & tried eveything to no avail. The internet connection that runs off the same phone line is working fine. I've read the troubleshooting guide & no help has been found. Can you please offer a solution?
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: re. call waiting
Using Call Waiting
If you have Call Waiting service and a second call comes in when you are on the phone, a call waiting tone will
sound. Press [ /Flash] to accept the waiting call. There is a short pause, and then you will hear the new caller. To
return to the original caller, press [ /Flash].
Note: You must subscribe to Call Waiting service for this feature to operate. Not all features are available in all areas.

I successfully reset Radio Shack (Uniden) 5561 handset by reconnecting the battery while holding the '*' and '#' key, then press the right upper soft key near the LCD window. The display will indicate "EEPROM/RAM cleared!!" and will return the handset to the factory default condition - looking for a base to register to.
