You can format the C: drive just right click on the drive and choose "format". Or you can delete your user account. Log into the computer in the administrator account (you do this by using safe mode, hold F8 key during boot up) once you're logged in as the administrator go to control panel and users and delete the account. Make sure you choose to remove all files and settings associated with the account. double check this by going to your C drive find documents and settings and make sure you don't see any trace of the old account name. I've never tried this one but you could also try right clicking on the C: drive in my computer and choose "format" I don't believe it would actually let you do that while it's running. Hope this helps!

Technically no matter what you do they can re assemble your hard drive at a very costly price but, you could Format your hard drives and odds are they would look no further.

Since your turning it back into your place of work, I suggest you re-install the os and use MS-DOS setup that to format your hard drives in the partion section of the setup.

If you don't know how to do this yourself, there is a pretty good tutorial on how to make a clean install of windows xp at winsupersite. if you have Vista, for the most part its the same, vista is just more of an automated setup.

Clean Your RAM & Make Your Comp Speed Better

You may recognize that your system gets slower and slower when playing and working a lot with your Desktop or a laptop. That’s because your RAM is full of remaining progress pieces you do not need any more.
Open the notepad and type
in this file and save it as RAMcleaner.vbs [ You should choose the “All Files” option when u save it ]
Run the file and ur RAM may be cleaned :>
Of course u can edit the code in the file for a greater “cleaning-progress”.
just try it out..

My laptop will not get the intenet, i have all the drivers and the wieless is working

I had the same problem and for some reason it never would connect. I dont know if it fixed itself or what, but I went in and defragged my hard drive and turned off my firewall temporarily. then tried it again and it worked! then went in and emptied the cache and deleted any old internet temp files.

Just cleaned up my internet files so to speak. then once I was able to establish a connection< I went back in and turned my fire wall back on. It has been working every since. I dont know if that will work for you, but it worked for me.... maybe worth a try!

Cleaned a toshiba laptop and still shuts down

If you have cleaned/deleted some files and your laptop does not boot up then some important system files may have been deleted.
You most likely need to install Windows again to get a working computer.

This problem can happen after using the disc clean up tool which can disable the hibernation file. Try the following:

Click start>all programs>accessories. Right click command prompt and click run as administrator. Type: 'powercfg -h on' (without speech marks) in command window and hit enter. That should enable the hibernation file and hopefully solve your problem.

Samsung r70 just turns off abruptly

Please check the charge on the battery. If the battery is fulled charged but if this discharges then the current/voltage factor must be checked.
If the laptop works well with the adapter then try to first clean off all files, off line content and de-fragment. Also scan for virus in the system, if possible restore PC to an earlier set date.
If none works the PC OS can be corrupt or there are errors in the motherboard.

I am assuming your motherboard is fried, but your Hard Drive is still OK. The laptop may not work anymore, but your files are more than likely recoverable.
