Question about JVC KD-LX300 CD Player
I have a JVC KD-LX300 and it has worked for years. Great CD player but recently I could no longer hear audio from the Radio, AM or FM but I could hear a CD just fine. I dismounted the cd player and checked to see if the antenna jack was disconnected but it was not. I even noticed that when searching stations it would pick up on all the local stations but just no audio output.
Can anyone help me is this matter?
Push the Sel button and hold for 3 seconds (usually displays Demo or Demo Off). Push the Station up and down button til it reads Clock H or Clock M. Turn the volume button to adjust time. Push the Sel button to quit.

That is usually the antenna. Antenna's do go bad, as AM reception is all based off the vehicles ground system. It could be lose on the vehicle or just quite working correctly. Best Buy can trouble shoot it by using one of their antennas and grounding it to your car and pluging it into the radio, good reception? Then your antenna is bad - still no reception? The probably the radio.
Hope that resolves it.

I had the same problem, the cd refused and radio plays good, with JVC KD G321. I have disconnected the switches behind the radio and also disconnected the antenne (do not forget the antenne) and it played the cd again.
Jan (my english is not so good, i hope my solution is better.
