If I accidentally deleted my cyberlink youcam what can I do so I dont lose all my files ?

You will find U cam under SP38761 on the hp website - download it and save it to a folder in your my doc's. Then you've got it OK

There is your cyberlink you cam installation folder just find exe of it and send shortcut of it to desktop.

Need to uninstall cyberlink youcam. Error message "missing definition"


If you are not able to uninstall Cyberlink from your programs list in control panel you can remove that manually from the program files

Go to C/program files/cyber link select the file click on delete the you can go to control panel and remove the program from program list.

I tried uninstalling cyberlink youcam but it won't let me, it says that youcam is detected in computer everytime i tried uninstalling and to remove it, so i try doing that but then it says "Error!!...


  • Click "Start" on your computer screen and click "Run."

  • Type "appwiz.cpl" and hit "Enter." This will bring you to the programs window that displays all programs and applications installed on your computer.

  • Click "Cyberlink YouCam" and click "Remove/Uninstall." Click "Yes" to confirm.

  • Click "Remove." The files will be removed from your computer and the program uninstalled.

I download Cyberlink YouCam a few days ago thinking it was something else so now I want to uninstall it. I go to Add/Remove Programs and I click on Cyberlink YouCam and I click Remove and a box comes up...


i have the same problem but i atleast disable it for now. you can go to computer, OS C, programme file, (x68 if using windows 7) then cyberlink. You will find a file there called youcam delete ir :) this way it is not on your computer but we stil have to figure a way to remove it!!
