Question about iLO CA3000V CD Player

CD Player shuts off when faceplate is up

I have an ILO CA3000V headunit. It plays just fine until you snap the faceplate into the up and locked position, then the unit just powers down... Im wanting to use this stereo because it just sounds better than my pioneer. Im just curious if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a fix available for it.

Check the pin connectors make sure there not bent and that the line up right if that dont work try lightly bending them or cleaning them if that dont work sometimes theres a little peice of plastic that triggers the radio on look on face plate or head unit to see if maybe something broke off if it did try to find peice of plastic that size and super glue it on good luck..

The RCA connections on the back of the Ilo CA3000V are exclusively for XM radio input, and do not send a 'low level' signal required for your amplifier to operate. You will need to have a 'high level' input on your amplifier to get a signal from the Ilo, this will be driven off the speaker wires themselves.

XM RADIO PROGRAMMING

For the Ilo CA3000v, all you need is an XM direct tuner box, Model XMD1000, the cable that came with the Ilo radio, and an RCA cable to connect the two. The RCA jacks and the 8-pin DIN jack on the back of the ILO CA3000v are exclusively used for XM signal translation. You will, of course, need a subscription to XM Satellite radio, but the items listed above cover the extent of the hardware you'll require. The XMD1000 comes with the antenna as well, so no need to worry about that, and all XM features are controlled from the head unit itself

Faceplate not responding / acting very weirdly

Sounds like a bad connection with the faceplate and the multi connector that the faceplate mates with when closed. check for dirt and bent pins on both connectors. Luck
