Anytime the Error 301 messages appear on your computer, it is due to corrupt or damaged system files.

If you do not fix this error immediately, it can lead to additional system issues, blue screens and hardware problems.

Frozen programs, installer errors, random shutdowns, system freezing and sluggish computer performance are common symptoms of the Error 301.

Fortunately, you can fix the Error 301 with features native to your computer.

Click "Start" and then "Computer." Right-click "C" and select "Properties."

Select the "Tools" tab and click "Check now." Select "Continue" if the User Account Control prompt displays.

Hard disk 1 (301) how do i fix it do i need a new hard disk?

Well, if you can manage to boot into a recovery console, you might be able to run chkdsk and verify that it is a bad hard drive. But most likely yes, you will need a new hard drive. If your laptop is under warranty, you may be entitled to a free replacement, otherwise you should consider whether you want to attempt the installation or have someone else that you trust do it.

Smart failure hard disk 4 :wd1600bevt-222ct0-(si)

The error S.M.A.R.T. refers to Hard Drive hard drive that has detected damage to the disk and failure of the drive is imminent.

If the computer is booting to Windows after the SMART error, then back up all data on the disk immediately. The hard drive will need to be replaced to resolve this issue.

Also, I suggest that you start the Computer to BIOS and check whether the Hard Drive is detected in BIOS.

If the Hard Drive is detected in BIOS, then try to perform reinstalling Windows supplied in your computer once before getting the hard drive replaced.

PC Doctor error code Failed SMART Test Error Code HD521-2W

This is in an HP PC? This error (like most SMART errors) is indicative that your disk is on its way out. Your best bet is to buy a new disk quickly, and get important information off this one! SMART errors are usually fairly accurate, though occasionally disks go on for years.
