Lamp Timer Reset procedure Panasonic Projector PT-L759E

Need instructions to reset the lamp timer to zero.
Manual and service manual don't show how to do this - Panasonic can't help either.

Currently lamp turns on - is very bright but screen display says it has reached 0 hours and will turn off in 5 mins. I can turn unit on off and into standby and can shift cooling fan to high speed by pressing the < > keys.

Apparently, I can not use any button on the unit until the timer is reset using a combination of the buttons.

HELP PLEASE

Greetings!

It's been a while since I did one of these, but if I remember correctly:

- Turn on the set
- Push volume down on remote and at the same time....
- Push Split on the remote and hold both for 5 seconds

This should do it. The display should reset to "0".

Good luck!
Rob

Forgot to mention that on a few of these the sequence:

    - Must be performed AFTER the reset lamp message is cleared off the screen

    and/or

The volume button on the set must be used instead of the volume button on the remote

Sorry if there was any confusion.

Since you did not indicate the exact model number ill give you a generic solution. can you try the steps below.

With power on, hold down VOL minus button on projection display and hold down the PIP or SPLIT button (try both) on the remote simultaneously for more than 5 seconds.

Panasonic Projection TV Lamp Timer Reset
Your lamp will probably last a lot longer than the TV thinks it should. This procedure will reset the lamp timer so you don't have to look at that annoying message every time you turn your tv on. Remember that the "lamp" indicator light on the lower left of the set will stay on until the lamp is actually replaced. I had to buy a replacement lamp to get this information, could not find it anywhere for these model numbers.
Press the volume down button on the projection display and hold down the zero button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds. When the reset procedure is complete, a message will display that the lamp timer was reset to zero.
This procedure will work for Panasonic models: PT-52LCX66 , PT-56LCX66 , PT-61LCX66 , PT-52LCX16 , PT-56LCX16 , PT-61LCX16

Can't reset lamp timer after lamp replacement on Panasonic PT-AE40000

I have a Panasonic PT-AE4000U and could not reset the timer after replacing the bulb with a, non-Panasonic branded bulb. Calls to tech support were not very helpful. It was another bad customer service experience. Through troubleshooting it myself, I discovered the solution was simply to unplug EVERYTHING (serial cable, hdmi cables, etc.) from the device, power it off and back on. Follow the procedure in the manual, the timer immediately reset!!

You cannot reset the lamp timer. This is an indication that your lamp is at the end of it's life and must be replaced. Contact Panasonic for a replacement.

With power available at the projector and the lamp off (projector off) - hold the input button on and press the power button on and hold for 5 secs. This will reset the lamp timer to zero.

I wish they could have stuck this in the operators manual.
