Question about Bissell 6594 PowerForce Bagless Upright Vacuum
The vacuum itself seems to work fine. But the vacuum hose seems to have very little suction and barely picks up anything. I cleaned all the filters that were removable and the problem still persists. Help.
There is most likely a clog in the hose. If the hose has poor suction the foot probably has poor suction as well seeing that the hose is what gives the foot assy suction.

Take the dirt cup out and at the bottom the filter is inside, twist the bottom so it comes off, twist the top of the black plate and it will come off.take the foam off and clean with water then take a brush and in up and down strokes clean the filter while running water over it,it is water friendly.lay the foam between paper towels and dry.up inside where the dirt cup goes there is another filter reach up twist and pull down.that should just have fins on it,clean that to and wipe dry.put the dirt cup back in without the filters and see if you have suction .i'm sure you will.let the paper filter dry before putting it back in.i hope i was some help to you.please leave feedback
