Getting into test/service mode for the Sony NWZ E436F Media Play

I would like to adjust the volume and base via the test/service mode in my new Sony media player. I have found key sequences for other models but have been unable to source the info for the NWZ E436F.

Go back to CD/USB Mode, Then Press the Main Volume and find Audio Adjustment and now u can find the Subwoofer Level , Sub Phrase and Sub LPF adjustment.. Um Glad i found this and Happy Setting

How do you switch the rear outputs to sub outputs

This is a link to Sony for your CDX-GT50W Operating Instructions. Reference page 9 for subwoofer volume selection / adjustment.
http://www.docs.sony.com/release/CDXGT50W.pdf
It looks like you don't switch the rear rca outputs to subwoofer mode. There is a different output for subs as shown in box #3 of the link below.

Help setting the time on a JVC KD240 Car Stero

Hello dmay006,

Are you releasing the SEL button after the receiver enters the PSM mode? As soon as the display changes, you should release the SEL button and then use the "up" button to scroll to the "item". Each time you press the "up" button, the display should change. When it reads "CLOCK HOUR", use the volume control to adjust the setting. Press the "up" button once again to advance to "CLOCK MIN" and adjust it with the volume control. Press SEL briefly once again to exit the PSM mode. Once in PSM mode, if no other button has been pressed within about 3-5 seconds, the receiver will automatically cancel the PSM mode.

If you are following this procedure and the receiver will not let you into the PSM mode or let you switch from item to item with the "up" "down" buttons, then it is most likely defective and requires service or replacement.

Hope this helps.
