Question about Riso RZ220 Duplicator
I'm having trouble installing my new inkless riso drum in my Rz-220 UI. everything seems to be going great but when I type in the code to get it to pump ink it churns for a while then says "Replace ink cartridge". if I start up the machine again and take the ink cartridge out and then back in I can get it to make a master and even start to print but no ink comes out and after shooting out about 30 sheets of blank paper it goes back to "replace ink cartridge". it's not showing me any error signs. could anyone suggest any parts I might want to hit with some rubbing alchohol and a q tip to see if it's some connectivity issue? also, it says in the instructions for setting up the drum to "lead ink to the nozzle in advance" and I have no idea what that means so maybe that's what's throwing all this off. could anyone elaborate on that?

Remove the master that is on the drum. Then check the master roll remove it cut about 18 inches off then re install master roll. hit the reset, then print bottons.

1)You can set the dencity of the riso on the controll panel before you do your masters.
2)Always use original ink.
3)If you are a bit technical you can remove the pressure roller and strip all old ink buildup from it.was it with water ann soap.
If you open the drum and take it out completely,the pressure roller is the black roller inside the machine that put directly pressure on the drum.There is only one screw to loosen and then it hooked out,but it can be tricky to hook it back if you not doing it every day.

It seems that, There is a problem with print head.. it may be clogged or damaged... clear the clogging or change the print head...
