Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: I have a Brother SE-270D

its the problem of the timing belt in your machine its extra loosen or extra tightned or is slightly came out of its position or finally broken.
as the machine is proper just missing the proper speed as it should be .
it is running continuosly as you stated.
check the timing belt and make it proper if its worn out and needs replacement this is how its done

There is an adjusting screw on the right side of the machine head. Follow the motor bracket to the machine head and loosen that big old screw or bolt which will raise or lower the motor giving you slack to remove or replace the belt.

feel free for further queries
thanks

SOURCE: Sewing machine not stitching at all

SIX Layers !!!!
You really need a size 16 needle that won't bend and miss the hook by the sound of it....can you sew on less challenging thicknesses OK ??
If not, the timing may need adjusting...here is a link to assist:

SOURCE: bobbin thread gets bunched up and loud clicking sound

The problem is never the bobbin when you have this problem. It's the top thread. Take the thread off the top of the machine and rethread the top. Make sure the small tension dial is on 4 or 5 (the larger dial on the front left is for the pressure on the foot, not the thread tension.) After you thread the machine, put the pressure foot down but NOT on the thread. Then pull gently toward the back of the machine. When you do, the needle should bend slightly backwards before the thread comes through the machine. If it pulls with no resistance you could simply have "fluff" or remants of thread between your tension discs. If you do, put the dial on zero and using an old needle, clean between the discs and try threading the machine again with the "pull test" I described earlier.
No tension on the top of the machine, lets the bobbin tension win and it pulls all the thread to the bottom of the fabric.

Necchi supernova manual

Most sewing machines can use a double needle, the one with the single mounting shank and it turns into two needles.
MAKE sure you have Zig Zag needle plate installed to accomodate the double needle.
Turn hand wheel slowly to test then use thread and fabric and turn flywheel by hand to test sew.

I have necchi sub22 and the thread keeps coming out

Does this happen with every spool of thread? If so, you either aren't starting the seam correctly or have slightly misthreaded, or the machine is in need of adjustment. See: http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/22521551 Thread the machine with the presser foot up. Put it down to sew. Hold both the bobbin and top thread ends together behind the presser foot for the first few stitches of each seam -- then you can drop and sew normally. Not all machines need to have the thread ends held, but enough do that you might as well get in the habit.

Why does the shuttle hook grab the spool thread instead of the bobbin thread? It wraps the thread around the bobbin and binds the machine up.

The shuttle hook is suppose to hook the needle (spool) thread and loops it around the bobbin case to form the lock stitch. Is it possible that something was adjusted without proper clearances as to allow the thread looping around the bobbin case to do so without catching up where it should pass through freely?

My needle will not stay threaded. It gets gobs of thread on the underside of the fabric, and does not stitch at all evenly. I have a 1965 Necchi Supernova, and I love the machine.

try rethreading, make sure the foot is up, change the needle, make sure there are no loose threads or lints under bobbin case. You might also try rewnding the bobbin to make sure it is wound evenly.
