Identifying which magnum delta force version i have?

I have a magnum delta force which came in a box with all wrappings etc..and on the front of the box it has a yellow star sticker with 2002 version on.The radio has already been opened up for the 25-29mhz but out of curiosity i had a look inside to see if i could find the pcb board with the cpu reset and jumpers but i can't see any???I am now wondering if the rig is the first kind were the diode has been cut at the back of the front panel and the cpu shortened from there? I can't see anything to indicate this? Can some one shed more light on this for me?
Also is there a chance the ssb can be off frequency with these radios and need re aligning?

The 2002 model is different. Go to http://www.cbtricks.com/radios/rflimited/delforce/df_new_freq_mod.htm
