Question about Car Speakers & Subwoofers

10 Answers

I have a Treo 755 and had to do a hard reset of it, which caused my bluetooth connection with my Parrot LS 3200 in my car to be lost. I have turned the bluetooth back on but it wants to know some kind of password to reconnect to the device in my car. I don't seem to have a record of that password. How can I contact the manufacturer or someone to get the password or establish a new one?

The advice offered was not helpful. I have a Treo device, not a "tero", and I need information about my Parrot LS, not the Treo. This is a bluetooth device in my car that allows me to use my Treo handsfree.

  • igottlieb Jan 05, 2009

This was somewhat helpful; we'll see if Parrot proves helpful.

  • igottlieb Jan 05, 2009

That seemed like a good idea, but typing in "0000" didn't work. I tried a few other "likely" numbers, but no dice. I have also emailed the manufacturer to ask its help, and will try calling them.

  • igottlieb Jan 05, 2009

I don't have immediate access to the manual, and frankly may have discarded it. (I'm having someone check at my office, where I will not be returning for a few days). I hope there is some way for the manufacturer to "override" if necessary. .

  • igottlieb Jan 05, 2009

Yes, using askmee's link to the manual, I was able to reconnect my phone. They use random numbers to connect.

.3200 LS-Color, you must pair your
mobile phone with the kit.
. Enable the Bluetooth mode on your phone.
. On the hands-free kit, scroll through the menus until you come to Settings
Pair with phone…, and select the relevant option for your phone. A 4-digit
PIN code then appears on screen. Memorise it.
. Search for any peripherals: for further information on this procedure,
refer to the Bluetooth chapter in your mobile phone's user guide or
check out our website at :
www.parrot.biz/guide_chm/3200LS COLOR/index.html
. Once the search has finished, "Parrot 3200LS / Parrot 3400LS" is dis
played on your phone.
. Select the kit. Your phone prompts you to enter a code: key in the code
shown on the kit screen and confirm on your phone.
. The kit's screen displays "Pairing".
. Once the data has been exchanged, "pairing successful" appears on
the 3200 LS-Color.
. The 3200 LS-Color then connects to your phone. Once the connection
has been made, the Bluetooth logo is displayed on the screen (except for
certain phones using the Headset profile).

Good luck...

Its the problem of password not been entered and needs to be enteren as it is once disconnected from its orignal settings and cannot be override as this is not possible.
but calling a tech from a service center at your place is much advisable as they have the reset method with them and it will be done in minutes and start working.or you can just take it to the near by dealer of this product and ask him to get it resetted and they can provide you the further information on this issue as they r in the contact with the manufactures.and it will be done.

The manual for the device you are trying to pair with should include the password...

yes it will tell what the bt device you want to pair with password is and you input that when requested on your treo in the pairing process. Get back with us if you still hbave problems. Sometimes it takes several times to get the pairing established. Have some patience...... Thanks and Regards, Take Care :) If u wish u may try 0000 as password, as suggested by the one of th experts :)

Yes i understand that your trying to get the bluetooth to sync with the car but you never had a problem before the phone itself was hard resetted. So it shouldnt be a problem with the car settings because the car is already set up to that device so it will be in the cars memory...its the treo that has no memory of the old bluetooth settings...I worked for volvo and i was able to set up the bluetooth handsfree this same way...I would set it up on my phone with the 4 zeros inside the car and the car would intercept my calls and would syn on its own...So let me know if you tell me that still aint working then give me your car specs and what network your treo is on..

    Thanks,

    Steve

I have Tevion 43744 car stereo. No sound from radio and bluetooth doesn't connect. Are these issues related? What's the solution?

Could be some bad connections with the speakers; are you check this harnesses and wires?

Additionally, about the Bluetooth, accorrding with the Tevion 43744 User Guide... first will need PAIRING paorcedure. Press and hold BND/ID3/TEL button until the word "PAIRING" blinks on the display waiting for the bluetooth device to connect.

At this blinking time, please run the bluetooth search and connect function in your mobile phone. The car radio model no "BT Car Stereo" will be shown on the mobile phone . Select this car radio and connect. When you are asked for a connection password, please input "0000" in your mobile phone to finish the pairing, there is "PAIR OK" to show on the LCD. Then the bluetooth icon will be shown on the car radio LCD indicating that the bluetooth function is ready to use.

Hope this helps.

The entire devinces of hardware have to be installed to attain power functionality before bluetooth is attainable. First, install new stereo into the socket area with appropiate wiring links attacked to power cuicuits. Second, install the woofers speakers into places firmly attaching to copartments. Connecting links to the stereo that would be produce media with woofer into speakers. Third, once the stereo devices are connected ready to produce the first audio effects, bluetooth is capable of beign set with the features on the stereso.

When I try to pair my Nokia N97 mini to my 3200 LS parrot it wont pair. My phone sees the parrot but then then says pairing failed and does not give me the opportunity to enter the pin code. Any thoughts?

firstly you need to go to settings / paired devices & delete any old pairings, the go to settings / pair with phone and it will give you a code to enter. Now search for bluetooth devices on your phone and enter the code when prompted.

Good luck.

Problem pairing my LX160 v05

go into the menu of the Parrot and go to the "Forced" pairing and or "Other Phones" and scroll thru that to see if your LG is listed which i believe it is. You will most likely have to force it to pair which ain't too hard but i'm not sure if your contacts will transfer? I had a hell of a time pairing up a CK-3100 with a LG yesterday but with some patience and calmness it happened. let me know ... Mark
