This alarm clock radio features an adjustable display backlight, with dim, medium, and bright settings. To select a backlight setting, press the Snooze/Dimmer Bar until the desired brightness is reached.
From the normal time position, press Mode and the AL function will come up which is where you set the alarm. Instead of pressing SET, press the up arrow. Each time you press the up arrow it changes function. When the alarm function is on a little bell appears above the colon in the time. The snooze has a ZZ that appears below the colon. The unique feature of this clock, is that it is the only one I have seen where the alarm works in the time zone selected. Most others, the alarm only works the home time zone, not the selected time zone. This is a huge improvement.
To adjust snooze time - The system is set for a standard 10-minute snooze time (the number of minutes you can delay the alarm). While the selected alarm is flashing, hold down Sleep⁄Snooze and press the Time or to adjust the snooze time (from 1 to 30 minutes) for that alarm. The number of minutes and Sn appear on the display to confirm your selected snooze time. You can set a different snooze time for each alarm.
