They do not have to be the same, Any decent set of speakers will work on it for you, As long As the (OHM) Rateing is the same as the denons,

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Denon instructions

I don't have this particular model but I have owned 2 Denon receivers and I suspect yours is similar. On my Denon there is a manual speaker set up with a test tone for each channel. This will allow you to boost or reduce the DB level of each speaker individually. I would do this while sitting where you do while watching TV. be sure:

1. The receiver is in surround sound mode to do this.
2. My receiver also came with a microphone that can be plugged into the receiver to allow automatic level set up through what Denon calls the "Audyssey" set up. The equalizer setting are also located in the "Audyssey" settings.

You might check your manual before you begin.

Connecting computer speaker to a receiver

Which output section of the Denon are you using? Tape monitor out? And are you getting sound through the speakers (not the PC speakers) that are attached to the Denon speaker terminals?

Want to put set of outside polk speakers to Denon avr 2807

Do you have outputs for both A and B speakers? If so you can easily hook the outside speakers to the B outputs.

Protection circuit momentary activation. Not heat/speaker problem

Is it possible for you to lower the source level? if yes go ahead...

There is an automatic Dialogue normalisation function in Denon which is activated to reduce overly bright input signals. ( most movies have wide variation in sound levels and therefore this function is avaialble). (see page45 of your user manual).

When your system worked fine with the AVR 2808CI, then why is it giving problem with AVR 3808CI....???? You must ask Denon.

Protection circuits are activated when:
1). There is rise of internal temperature.
2).Core wires of the speakers are touching each other or a core wire is sticking out of the terminal and touching the set's rear panel or the speaker itself has a problem.
3). Speakers with an impedance other than specified are being used.
or
4). the set is damamged or has bad solder / dry solder connection .

If your AVR is new, please do not accept, the set could be faulty. The protection circuits should not be activated unless any of the above happen.

You must know, at times the protection circuits are not fast enough and it could burn some of the transistors on the power output circuit. With time, the solders on the circuit board could give way and give you problems later on.

You must sort out with Denon if the AVR is under warranty.

Best of Luck.

Back speakers with av denon 1908

Plug your rear 5.1 speakers into the surround speaker connections. Be sure to use the AVR 1908 set up menu to set rear speakers (not an amp assign). Hope this helps.

Is it possible to to have a home theatre with Denon AVR 3600

one option that may yield results, since the bose connection to equalizer is presently not possible is to set the speaker out put on the denon for 'small' on all but the front speakers.
and then set the delay for all speakers based on the distance to the amp.
this should result in better audio that that with the bose eq.
will work on the issue of using the eq. with the denon if you like. but, you will likely not improve on the sound with the denon set up correctly.
good luck
