How to take off the tour pac

Hi Anonymous, I would take a ride over to my local dealer and ask someone in parts or service to check and see if you have a quick release tour pak and show you how it works. Other wise it's hard mounted and the bolts are underneath the tour pak inside liner. If you have radio antena they will have to be relocated, plus there is the wiring to deal with, for some tips go to: http://www.hdforums.com/forum/touring-models/502970-taking-off-the-tour-pak.html. Good luck

2007 Ultra Classic - Tour pack removed. Blows tail

Hi Anonymous, you have a hard/dead short that should be easy to find generally they are the easiest. Time to get out your test light and start tracking the wire from the power side of the blown fuse receiver, when the test light quits lighting you are very close to your short. For a free wiring diagram please visit the website below and good luck. Harley Davidson Wiring Diagrams and Schematics

Brake lights stay on on 2007 ultra classic. Tail light and tour pack

The most likely cause is a stuck brake switch, probably the foot brake switch. Remove the switches and exercise them then refit. Should fix it or tell you which one has failed.

How do you remove the tour pack on 2007 Electra Glide Classic

Disconnect all of the electrical connections including the antenna wire from under the seat going to the tour pack and then remove the four nuts under the tour pack which holds it to the mount. At this point, simply lift it off.
