Did you remove the existing aerator from the faucet nozzle first? If not, that's your problem.. If you did..then look at the adapter to see if the therad pattern on the end looks like the thread pattern of the aerator you've removed.. If it does.. then you need to install that one.. Sometimes ..you can get them started by rotating it into the faucette backwards a few turns and then rotating it forward until the threads get started properly..after that.. just tighten it in place.. Hope that helps !

There is an adapter that you can buy at most home improvement or hardware stores. If you can't find it locally you could also try sears.com for the part.

SOURCE: connector to the faucet for GE Nautilus portable dishwasher

We just bought a used version of the GE Nautilus and we were able to get a generic "fits most portable dishwashers" adapter and it worked great. We went to Fred Meyer (which I believe is a Kroger company in the NW) and it was the only one they had. It only cost $3.99. The brand is Plumb Craft by Waxman and the model number is 76-127. Dishwasher Faucet Aerator. Hope this helps!

Good Luck!

SOURCE: how to hook up detached dishwasher to faucet?

Hello there:
you are going to want to make sure that the threads on the hose match the faucet and also make sure that the gasket is in place you might even need to get a adapter for the unit to hook up to the faucet.
i would consult the manufacture or the users guide for further help

Faucet connector

Any store that sells new portable dishwashers to the public should have such.
For example: around here are, Sears, H.H.Gregg, or Best Buy.
Also, places like Home Depot, Lowe's, and Menards should be having some.
There is more than one size, so be sure you have a place where you can return the part if it does not fit.
Be blessed
There are a few different threads inside your faucet, and a few different couplings for your dishwasher.

I own a Kenmore portable dishwasher model#C110- 764400 i cant get the hose to fit on my kitchen faucet , do i need a special connector? what kind or size?

Yes. It is a special screw on adaptor. It should have come with your washer but it is available at any hardware store or at a place like lowes. Just ask the sales people. Easy to do. Read your manual!

I cannot get the attachment on my appt. size

The hose fitting goes onto an adapter that screws on to your faucet. You have to have the piece on your faucet for it to work. As best I can recall, once both pieces are in place, you pull down on the locking collar on the hose, put it on the faucet and relaese.
Best regards, --W/D-- please feel free to rate this solution..thanx!

I have a ge nautilus built in dishwasher and do not know the model number it is 7 years old and came with house. need to replace and am unsure of dimensions for correct sizing on new purchase

You can find them on a label on the tub wall just inside the door. However 99% of all DW are a standard size and the difference is made up by adjustments of the threaded leveling /adjustment legs.

Standard size is 24" x 32-36"...you can take a tape measure and measure from the floor to the bottom of the countertop it is to be installed under...and then measure across the front of the DW. you should find my measurements to be within this range unless it is a custom unit.

Hope this helps. ...good luck and good day...The Fang

Ther are several sizes .Are you replacing one that was there before??If sl you have to see the "hot" valve and use the exact size that will fit that. The end that goes into the valve of D/W is a common fitting .
