Question about IBM Lenovo ThinkPad T400 7417 Notebook
I am using Skype with a LogicTech QuickCam Orbit AF. When I make the call and get the Logictech device all set up, I click on " start my video" and Skype turns on my integrated camera and does not use the Logictech device. The picture with the integrated camera is yellow and not clear. How can I disable the integrated camera so that no software can turn it on. The Logictech QuickCam works great. Windows XP.
In the skype settings you should be able to chose which device to use. also you can go to (in windows) start, control panel, system, hardware tab, devices find the internal cam right click and chose disable.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
