I cant get my music of my ipod nano onto my new netbook? i HAVE A NEW NETBOOK WHICH IS WINDOWS 7 AND I CANT TRANSFER MY MUSIC OFF MY IPOD NANO 4GB ONTO MY NETBOOK?

iDevices (iPod, iPhone, etc) usually can only be managed through iTunes. So the first thing you should do is install iTunes (you can download it off Apple's website).

After installing iTunes and connecting your iPod, you must open My Computer then double click your iPod's icon. Then, click on Tools, Options, and in the View tab check the "Show hidden files and folders" option. You should then see an "iPod_Control" folder. Inside it there'll be a "Music" folder, with all your songs. Just drag them back to your computer.

But remember: you can only manage your iPod's music through iTunes. If you add or change songs on your iPod without using iTunes, these songs won't be recognized.

How to put music in my ipod pls.

Apple ipods were designed for Itunes only, which means you need to download Itunes and put your music files in the MY MUSIC folder under MY DOCUMENTS,.
if you do not have Itunes you can download it for free at:

Will i lose all my synched ipod music if dad reconfigures comp??

If you try to sync with Dad's PC via iTunes you will lose your music. However take a look at XPlay 3 from mediafour.com; that will allow you to recover music from your iPod onto a PC.
If you need to do this on a Mac try Senuti.

Syncing without deleting content on ipod shuffle.

this happened to me too with my iTouch. i had to plug it into my comp, quickly stop it from syncing, then i went under the tab on the left for my iPod. when i set it to manual syncing, it fixed the problem, but then you'll have to do everything by hand. if you want to keep it automatic, i think you'll have to let it format.

Cant listen to songs

you would have formatted your player in windows.never format your player in windows.just insert your driver cd and press on the recovery option and follow the onscreen instruction your problem will be rectified.after recovering, safely remove your ipod from computer and again restart.then start transfer the mp3 by connecting to comp u will be able to see the music files after unplugging frm system.for further details call me at 09488561892.

IVE JUST BOUGHT A LAPTOP,IVE GOT MY ITUNES ON IT AND IT WONT LET ME COPY ANY OF MY MUSIC ONTO DISC.

are you trying to copy music onto a cd disk or onto your ipod. If you are trying to copy music onto your ipod, you will have to clear the ipod of the music that was loaded onto it previously, because it will not detect your new settings on your laptop. An easy way to do this is copy over your itunes music folder onto cd/dvd from your old computer and paste the music into your itunes music folder on your laptop. When you open itunes go to file, import file, and choose your itunes music folder. (If it hasn't aready automatically picked the music up). This will put all of your music back into the itunes library. You will then need to create another playlist for your ipod. Reset your ipod in itunes mode and upload your new playlist onto it. If you have vista on your laptop then you may need to download the lastest version of itunes. You can do that by going here> http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
I hope this helps

Snapbox mp3/mp4 player

It should tell you in the instructions that you need to download iTunes for Windows since it sounds like you're not on a Mac. All the controls for transferring music and synching photos etc are in iTunes. When you attach the iPod, you're connecting it to allow the transfer of files as though it was a USB Flash Memory stick, but this allows you to store other files such as Word docs on the iPod -- it does not allow you to transfer music. A big part of the reason for this is the digital rights management that the music labels insist upon.
