SOURCE: Default username for 5461 maxg

Hello, The easiest way to correct it to reset router back to default. Reset hole/button on back need to be held in 10-15 seconds. 5 seconds or less and it will reboot router. Once it is reset to default use 192.168.1.1 for address and "admin" for password. Leave usename blank. After in settings these can be changed. Hope this helps.

First check that you do not have capitals lock in.Then try again the following whilst you put http://192.168.0.1. on your browser.

Default: 'username: admin password: password".
or
'username: admin password: 1234".
or
'username: admin password: 'blank empty space here'".

If all the above does not work then your router had been used, and password changed, or is fault. in this case bring it back and ask replacement.
There is also a reset button at the back of router. It is a tiny hole where you stick a pencil on router startup to get reset. But if the router is new and does not get default user/password I suggest changing it, It is possibly a return, and you do not know if you get more troubles after reset.

regards

If you have never changed this from default then the user name will be "admin" & the password will be "password" or "admin. If you google the default password for Your router model then that shoud find it if this does not work. Don't forget to rate me if this works for you.

I need to set a password for my Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router, but the websited 192.168.0.1 to set the password isnt working. I need help ASAP. Thank-You

to access the router page for linksys, you need to type 192.168.1.1 on the address bar. username is " admin " password is " password " if it doesnt work, try "admin" for username and "admin" for password. then it would take you to the router page. and you can start configuring.

Username and password for dlink Im trying to set

If you are trying to access the router itself via it's IP address (192.168.X.1) where X is usually 0, 1 or 2...
The username and password should both be admin
if not, try no username with admin as the password, or try admin as the username with no password.

Netgear will not accept my password

Well, there are two possibilities: 1) You don't remember your password correctly 2) Some electronic failure messed up your password settings I recommend you to reset your router and reconfigure it, first turn off your router then reset your router by using a small pin or tooth pick and putting it in a small hole in the back of the router push just a little the reset button hiding in the hole for about 5 seconds and turn your router back on, the use default username and password to log into the router config, set up a new password and you're done. Have a nice day :)

have you tried entering a blank username i.e. enter nothing? and use admin as the password
if that doesnt work look on the label on the bopttom of the router your isp might have configured it with there own username and password

Where can I find my DI-524 Username and Password?

If you have not changed it, the default username and password can be:

Username: can be left blank or use "admin"
(without the quotes)

Password: can be left blank or you can use either "password", "1234", "admin"
(without the quotes)

How to find out user name ad password

You can reset your router to its default setting by holding down the Reset button on the back of the router for 30sec. After you do that, everything will be back to default settings, including your username and password. Default Username is admin and Defualt Password is password. If you never put a username and password on your router then these are your current username and password so give em a shot without restting it if you want. Hope this helps!

Blitzz wifi router default userID and password?

The default is admin and admin...

If that doesn't work, the reset button will clear the stored login information and reset your router to factory default.
Make sure you hold that button for about 15-20 seconds before you release it. After you did this, you can access your router again via the default IP address2.gif of 192.168.1.1

The default username and password for your Blitzz router are both "admin".

Don't forget that all your personal settings will be erased as well (wireless security2.gif, port forwarding etc.

Locked out of wireless router .

On the rear of the router is a recessed reset button. You'll need something like a pen point or a straightened paperclip to press it. Turn off the router (pull out the AC adapter plug), the plug it back in while pressing the reset button. After the lights on the router quit blinking, let go of the button. This will reset the router to factory settings. When you go to //192.168.1.1 and are prompted for username and password, the username is blank and the password is admin. (It's possible the username may be admin and the password is password. This was in some versions of the router.) Then you can set your router up again the way you want.
