Gas furnace won't heat

Hi, I'm really hoping you can help me. I have a weatherking acclaim ii gas furnace. I have not been able to locate an owner's manual. The fan is blowing but no heat. Here's what I've got: http://s10.postimage.org/ttcphlezd/DSC00426.jpg When I first power the unit, the two green LEDs on the board go solid for about 2 minutes. (see video 1). After about 2 minutes, one of the green LEDs starts to flash. I cannot smell gas. The honeywell gas valve is in the "on" position. Here is what happens upon startup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vmf7a99RP88&feature=youtu.be And here is what happens about a minute and a half to two minutes later. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27qtXOQy2Gs&feature=youtu.be Circuit board has the following stamped on it: 62-2400-1-02 Any ideas?? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

SOURCE: Display Stops after 5mins

As a follow up to Benimur's post and if you are considering a DIY, the following might be of further help:

  • a cleaning of the inside with the use of a can of compressed air and a vacuum cleaner;
  • source of Service manual;
  • correct user's manual;
  • often the problem is heat related or sensor(s) erroneously reading false temperature;
  • to my knowledge the NEC MT1050 uses a JED T460 projector controller with several smaller PCBs for various sensors. A possible source of parts.
Cheers.

  1. The sensor that tells the furnace whether the gas is lit has got build-up on it and is giving the furnace bad information.
  2. The flame sensor is often a single wire or rod that sticks up in the center of the flame.
  3. You can shut off the furnace and the gas and clean the sensor with some sandpaper.
If that still doesn't work, the sensor may need to be replaced.

My weatherking acclaim furnace was working well, but started blowing cold air and would not shut off. I shut it off via fuse box and waited 15 min. and tried it...now it starts blowing cold air right

Usually when there is a problem with a unit in the heating mode it default to the blower running. Could be one of the limit switches need to be reset - or it could be some other issue related to the heating circuit.

You probably need to get someone to check it out.

Dual heat system, honeywell thermostat, auxiliary heat won't turn on

IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE EITHER YOUR SYSTEMS LOW VOLTAGE WIRING IS INCORRECT, MOST LIKELY @ THE FURNACE. IT COULD ALSO SIMPLY BE THAT WHEN THE TECHNICIAN THAT INSTALLED THE T-STAT AT START-UP DID NOT GO THROUGH THE INSTALLER SET-UP & CHOOSE THE CORRECT SETTINGS FOR A DUEL FUEL SYSTEM. TRY THIS " SET THE THERMOSTAT TO EMERGENCY HEAT, WAIT A MINUTE OR TWO & SEE IF THAT TURNED GAS FURNACE ON. IF SO THEN IT'S A SIMPLE FIX IN THE WIRING OR PROGRAMMING & NOT SOMETHING MAJOR! GOOD LUCK!

What is the door switch on the weatherking acclaim II Furnace that allows it to go on and off?

When you pull the panel off the blower compartment there is a switch that verifys this panel is place. Its called a door switch although you are putting the blower panel on. Its usually black and has the hot incoming line voltage that runs through this first. Thanks Happy Heating

Igniter keeps breaking

Wow, this is a new one on me! Are you using true OEM parts for your source? If not, you may be getting sub standard parts. There are some companies that use generic parts and this isn't a good thing to do sometimes. Weatherking is a Rheem/Ruud product.
