Question about Presto HeatDish Compact Heater
This is the older model without the footlight. It heats up well, but left on, it will give out the loud warning blare that is designed to go off if you bump into when it is on. Turning it off or down very low makes the sound go away, but then it comes back on as it heats up again. I think the signal switch or something must be bad. Can I fix this? Or disable the warning buzzer?
Had a similar issue. I think if you pull the plug, remove the cover (about 4X6) inches and inspect all wires and connections you will find your culprit. Look for evidence of arcing at a connection. If evidence of arcing is present the terminal must be thouroughly cleaned and maybe a new lug attached to the wire.
