Question about Bosch DWM40L Miter Finder Digital Protractor/Angle Finder
Noise starts when it is swithed on. Quits when it is switched off. Seems to read ok, but can't figure out what could be causing the noise. Noise seems to come from the pivot area.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

my dishwasher started making a load noise last night found out it was the pump . It was a easy fix to access the pump you need to remove the outer side of the door and the bottom cover .then you can see the pump .to remove it you need to remove the clear hose in front of it .it just pulls out of the tank sealed by a o-ring move it out of the way next unplug the wires to the pump .then you will see a plastic clip on top the pump just push the clip and turn the pump clock wise about a half turn and pull it out replace new one make. sure you get all the water out off the bottom tray before running theres a swicth that will keep the pump running if leak

We have a Bosch Nexxt dryer and it, too, squeaks during operation. We have not been able to find a permanent solution for this problem although we've had the repairman come out 3 times now. We have however found a temporary solution that lasts for about a week. We spray Static Guard (in an aerosol can) in the inside lining of the dryer... kind of in the lip of the front. (You shuld be able to feel it if you put your hand right inside the door.) We've just been spraying the static guard all the way around that area and the squeaking stops! Hope this works for y'all. May not be permanent but at least it stops the annoying sqeaking!

your model is pretty new. just so you know your warrenty is 1 year parts and labor. 2 years on parts. it should not cost that much money.
there are two components that start before the circulation pump.(wash noise you hear)
first sounds you hear will be the drain pump. usually rattling noises if something is in it but it can make a hum noise if something is jamming the drain propeller up. which is accessible with a T20 torx driver. take the filters out and the mesh filter. and unscrew the screw in the base towards the left. pull out whatever is lodged.
the other humming sound can come from the next component that activates is the watervalve. make sure you dont have a kinked water intake line. otherwise its a bad valve. i have had to change a few of those water valves out already but not for a hum noise on your model. you have a new style water valve. when brands make new parts we get problems fast sometimes..

Blocked pump, open flap bottom right, drain off excess water manually and remove pump filter. Make sure you get right down and have a look in at the impellor and give it a turn to make sure its free to rotate. You'll probably find a coin, button etc that is catching the pump impellor. When you start a cycle the pump engages for a few seconds and then the w/m takes in water, so if something is stopping the impellor rotating the w/m will not start.
Best of luck
