anything over 2gb is a micro sdhc the hc means high capacity so for most phones 2gb is the most you can go thats why the 1gb works and not the 4.

According to this website most the J700 phone can support is 2GB.
However, alot of phones and other electronics which were made in the February-June months state that they only support up to 2gb when the can support more.
I recommend buying a 4gb micro sd card from Best Buy, trying it out before you leave the parking lot.
If it does not work, return it for a 2gb micro sd card!

i just had the same problem and I found out that the phone can only handle 2gb and below. I had a 4gb card and the phone would not read it but once i switched it to a 1 gb it came right up.
