Question about Dimplex EPX1000 Heater
I have checked the control wires and they are all connected. I have checked all of the settings on the control panel and they are correct. I thought I had sorted it yesterday, but today it has given up again. It would help if I knew where to trace this to. Could it be a problem in the heater itself stopping the timer working or is it to do with the control panel and control wires?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I have the same problem with 3 of the 5 EPX1000s I have fitted in my flat, although mine don't even warm up. They just immediately turn themselves off. My only conclusion is that they are rubbish. Specifically, the so-called overheat protection doesn't work. Avoid.
