Question about Computers & Internet
I NO NOTHING ABOUT COMPUTERS. AND DID NOT GET THIS USIM COME UP BEFORE
You need to supply a bit more info. Computer Make Model? What is your OS? That said did you re-start your computer and then attach the card reader? The Usb Port did not identify the device? Re-Boot with out the device connected, let the machine fully boot then try to connect. If that fails tou may have to uninstall the software assioated with tha card reader and re-install from th CD. You can look in the Device Manager and check the ststus or the USB port and card reader. If you need assistance respond to this solution. I will do what I can.

Your card reader on your computer isn't capable of reading SDHC cards. You have to use a card reader approved for SDHC use.

For both an MSI Wind running Windows and Mac OSX 10.5.(4,5,6) do the following.
Shut down the MSI Wind.
Remove the power cord, any USB peripherals, and any SD cards in the slot.
Remove the Battery
Hold down the power key (with the battery removed for 2-5 seconds)
Release the Power Key
Insert the Battery
Insert the the Power Supply plug
((do not insert any USB or SD card yet))
Power on the Wind
Now, insert the SD card-it should now show up on the desktop (in OSX).
That should do it.
Now insert any USB dongles/cables etc...
You have reset the PMU and bus start up. Any more Wind Questions?

I would like to inform you that Acer's laptop doesn't support all kinds SD memory cards available in local market. Its not compatible with all physical dimensions of various memory card companies. So in that case you need to use EXTERNAL Memory card reader which is attachable to USB ports.
If this solution was helpful to you then please rate 100% (or FIXYA) for this solution, otherwise don't rate at all. It was my pleasure helping you.
