It's very possible that the feed dogs have a burr on them and it needs
to be filed off
I would also check the needle plate for burrs also

SOURCE: Feed dogs not feeding material

Make sure that you did not disengage the feed dogs by accident. You should have some type of button that allows you to control the feed dogs.

SOURCE: Feed Dog problem

I listened to all that...and none of it worked...so I took the plate off and gave it a good clean. Still nothing. If your machine's a bit old like mine or tends to get stuck...physically lift up the feed dog with your fingernail or a flat screw driver or something (once the plate is off), then push the feed dog lever across and release the feed dog. It should hold in place if nothing else has worked...woo!!! :)

SOURCE: heavy material feed dog

To the very best of my knowledge (and I've been full time as a manager / owner in my family sewing machine sales / service business for almost 30 years (with many more part-time before that), I know of no "heavy material" feed dog that has been available for the Pfaff 130. Please keep in mind that the 130, while pretty heavy duty (especially compared to many of today's machines), was never manufactured or intended to be heavy duty in the sense of sewing heavy items such as uphaolstery fabrics (canvas, nagahide, etc.). It was produced with the intent of being a reliable household (non-commercial / industrial) machine with the purpose of sewing light-to-moderate heavy metrails. What exactaly are you trying to sew that leads you to the request of using "heavy material" feed dogs or that you feel Pfaff produced / manufactured such an item?

Best regards,

Dave

The little white button on the lower right front of the machine is the button that drops the feed teeth. If it is pressed in the feed teeth are down, push in a lift upward to be sure it's in the "Up" position. Then look on the left side of the machine, you'll see a dial, (NOT the dial facing you as you sit in front of the machine) make sure the red dot on the dial is lined up with the red dot on the painted part of the machine.
Finally look at the dial on the front of the machine. The one with the little button in the center of it. Put it on the number 3. If your machine doesn't feed fabric after doing what I've outlined then you need to take it in for service.

On a baby lock 6300, it's threaded correctly but when running, the track (feed system)under the foot won't pull the material through. What can I check? There are no repair shops anywhere in my area.

1. It most likely is the foot pressure not set properly. With thick material it needs to be less and with thin material it is opposite. Just test a piece of like fabric that is rags.
2. Make sure that you clean out any thread under the plate as good as you can.
3. Check your tensions. The top should be around four. The bobbin tension has to be even with the top tension. (like tug of war) However, when you thread the top do it with the foot up to check for snags. Snags are a serious problem and cause the material from moving. Good Luck.

Brother CS6000i with setting 00 for straight line stitch is making a left curve stitches instead going straight.

***Your feed dog under the pressure foot seems to be pulling on one side a little harder which indicates wear. It is likely to solve the problem by replacing the feed dog.
***Before you do this try to lower the pressure on the pressure foot. If the material you are sewing is thick it will have an effect on the pull of the feed dogs. The material you are sewing that you sent appears to be jeans material. It looks like it is thick and somewhat slippery.

Feed dog on singer m756 won't pop up

If this is a combo embroidery and sewing machine, the feed dogs have a switch to raise or lower them. If this is just a sewing machine, your feed dog linkage may be broken.

Hi... I put new 2 gears which operate feed dogs.but my singer stylist 513 sewingmachine's feed dogs still jamed.not moves

The feed dogs must be centered. If the dogs rise too high the material may get stuck and cause problems. Another problem could be the foot is too high of pressure and must be lowered to allow the fabric to move. The last thing to look for is to check if the feed dogs are above the plate at the same time the needle is above the plate. All of these can cause trouble. It is also possible to have the plate have an area that causes a snag. Check the plate where the needle goes in the plate and check the edges of the hole. If they are rough then you can likely use a finger nail file to smoothen the edges. These are all very important to check.

Esante baby lock ESe2 dog feed won't feed material.

check to see if the feed dogs lever is in the up position for sewing, if not move the lever to the up position, if the feed dog lever moves and it doesn't make the machine sew, then the feed dogs need to be checked.

Material won't feed through on kenmore 17600 sewing machine

Take out the material, take off the foot and needle. Stick your finger on the feed dogs and hand turn the hand wheel like sewing. Does the feed dog come slightly above the surface of the needle plate? If it does.... tighten the presser foot tension.

If it doesn't locate the switch that drops the feed dog. Make sure it's in up position.

If neither of those solutions work. Remove the needle plate and see if the feed dog or mechanism that runs it is broken

Good luck
