How do you get the seat off to remove the battery on the Hurricane?

The manual shows that it can be removed, and we've done it before. Once you know the trick it is really easy, we just can't remember the trick!

You need to turn the seat first with the right lever so it is at a 90 degree angle then wiggle it while pulling up...sometimes takes a bit of wiggling but it will come off

No air from vents, cant hear motor working ford focus

Hi Victoria,

Your car's electrical components, like those in your home; are protected by fuses and / or circuit breakers.

You car has two fuse boxes. One is located under the hood (in the engine compartment) and the other in in the passenger compartment. Some popular locations are under the dashboard, in the dashboard behind a removable cover, under a seat, etc. Consult your owner's manual to determine the location for your car.

Once you have located the fuse block, you will need to determine which fuse is associated with the heater / AC fan, as there are dozens of fuses in the fuse block. The protective cover usually has a directory of fuse size, locations and function. If yours lacks such a directory - your manual will have it. It is not unusual for several directory pages in the manual, as the manual may cover several versions of the Ford Focus. If this is the case with yours, be sure to look at the page(s) for your version Ford Focus.

Once you've located the suspect fuse, remove the fuse with a tool that may be provided on the cover, etc. or other tool. The fuses are made of hard plastic, and are generally pretty durable - but can break if crushed in a tool. After removal, look for the shiny metal inside the plastic. It should appear unbroken along its entire length. If it is broken, it has opened. The plastic should not have any black areas inside - if so, it indicates the fuse has blown. Either of the conditions indicates that the fuse should be replaced. Replace the fuse with a new one. Fuses are color coded by amperage, be sure to use the same color fuse or fuse value. Do not increase or reduce the fuse value.

After changing the fuse, test the fan to see if it works. If it does, close everything up & discard the old fuse - you're done. Otherwise, double check the fuses to be sure you've changed the right fuse, etc. You may need to have the car service professionally if the fan motor or control has failed, etc.

I hope this helps & good luck!

Wheres the battery

Remove the bottom screw. Next, the on/off slide switch has to be lifted off carefully with a small flat screw driver. Its kept in place with a small spring steel clamp. After you've removed it lift off the steel clamp and remove the slide mechanism by carefully twisting it out of position. Once that's done it will twist open easily.

Why is adobe flash player crashing everyday?

Quite often you may have to do the removal and restart your PC. Once you have done that, check your registry to make sure you have removed any traces of flashplayer. Before you edit your registry, make sure you back it up first. Should something go awry, you can go back and recover to the back up registry file. Also make sure you do one product removal at a time and check that the reinstall removed all pieces.

How do I clean the laser mirrors myself? is there a manual or video that can show me how. i don't have the money to pay to have it done. the cheapest quote i have gotten is way more than i can...

Fist you need confidence.. then only you try it.. no video/manual for this, because of its no suggestible. Read once again & once again understand it then try it..

Open back cover & side covers.. two boards you will found at back side left one is formatter & right one DC controller. remove both DC & formatter, mark the connectors where you removed.
Remove the plate where DC & formatter placed, after that only you will find the scanner assm.
Two screws only protected to scaner assm, mark them where you removed.
Scanner assm: While cleaning the scanner assm must be wear glows..to avoid finger prints.
Remove the scanner assm cover(two screws) & shutter. Observe two motors with four reflecting mirrors, clean the mirrors & engine reflector sides(a squared metal part which was rotates along with the motor) with ear buds
gently. ( ear buds are good cleaning method) while fixing the unit back ensure that seated properly.. fix back every thing & do calibration.. check the print quality, if you failed to fix the scanner unit in properly, you need to do entire things once again.. Good luck..

My footup and footdown button is stuck and I keep getting an E1 error on the screen. Do I need to take it in for repair or is there something I can do to fix it? Machine will not sew because of the error...

Turn the machine off first and unplug.

If you've got a manual, look up the page for trouble shooting, this error message may be listed iwth a solution. I'd also suggest that you remove and clean out the bobbin holder. This is the little black piece you put the bobbin into. It has possibly dislodged if you've had a jam up. You will need to unscrew the two screws holding the needle plate down, take out the needle and pressure foot to give yourself some room too. Put the bobbin holder back into position lining up the red markings on the holder and the stopper, your manual should show images of this.

Once its all back together, turn on and hopefully it will reset to normal mode.
If you've done all this and the error message won't stop showing, then yes, you'll need to take it in for a service.

I'm having trouble removing the fabrics to wash,I'm guessing they come off. Does the hood fabric come off too??

Good Evening

The sun canopy is removable from the chassis, but you can't take the fabric out of the framework. You'll need to clean any marks with mild detergent and a sponge, it isn't suitable to put it through the washing machine.
The Zapp seat fabric slides out of the chassis - it's a bit fiddly if you've never done it before, so allow yourself some time to do it. What do the number guage on the seat bracket mean to adjust the seat over the pole? I don't have installation instructions? what is the best number setting

The etched guage is for your reference once you've set it and so you can reporoduce it if you remove the seat for any reason. You adjust, you try it out, you readjust if necessary. YOUR preferred riding position will not be found on a chart or in a manual.

My Pride Hurricane PMV will not go forward or backwards when I engage the trottle all I get is a click but it will not move. The battery meter shows fully charged.

Make sure that the manual brake release/freewheel lever is in the DRIVE position. The click indicates the brakes are being released but the motors are not kicking in. I hope this helps- good luck!

To change the 100amp Alt fuse you need to get inside the fuse box. To do this remove the battery and then you'll need to remove the air intake to allow you to get to the screws to loosen the fuse box. Once you've removed the fuse you'll need to separate the top from the bottom, this can be done by inserting a small screw driver in the clips located around the outside of the box. Now you need to remove the screw on both the inside and outside which holds the 100amp fuse in place, the screw actually goes through the hole in the connector legs of the fuse. You should be able to see these holes in the legs of the new replacement fuse, so you know where they're located. It may be tricky but can be done, I've done it. Once you get both screws out the old fuse can be removed. Replace the old with the new fuse and reverse the process to replace all parts as before and you should have things running again. I did this with another helper as we were trouble shooting until we figured out that the legs were held by the two screws, one on each leg.
