Have you resynched the keyboard to the wireless module. if not press the button on the wireless module and then press the button on the bottom of the keyboard also check where you installed the batteries and make sure you didnt change the channel for the keyboard.

Hp touchsmart 300

From the User Guide at... http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=4174137&

The wireless keyboard and mouse are pre-synchronized, for your convenience, to work with your

HP TouchSmart PC. The keyboard and mouse should work immediately after you pull the battery tabs to

activate the preinstalled batteries, and then turn on the mouse (A).

You may need to manually synchronize the wireless keyboard or mouse if they are not functioning.

To synchronize them:

Make sure the keyboard and mouse are next to the HP TouchSmart PC, within 30 cm (1 foot) and

away from interference from other devices.

Keyboard: Press the Connect button on the bottom of the keyboard (B) for five seconds. The blue

activity LED on the wireless receiver illuminates when the synchronization command has been received

and turns off when synchronization is complete.

Mouse: Press the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse (C) for five seconds. The blue activity

LED on the wireless receiver illuminates when the synchronization command has been received and

turns off when synchronization is complete.

If this does not work, remove and then re-insert the wireless keyboard and mouse receiver from the back of
the computer and then synchronize the keyboard and mouse again.

Mouse does not work, batteries are ok

LOL, just when you need it to work those wireless mouse and keyboards always fail you. I never understood the concept of why have a wireless mouse or keyboard because you have to be sitting right there at the computer to use them. Therefore why not use a dependable wired device?

Maybe the mouse needs replacing or somewhere in the mouse properties you have the pointer locked.

Medion Media PC Model 8828 uses wireless keyboard and mouse,(Liteon SK-7225). The keyboard has failed. Any tricks please? Alternatively, where could I but a direct replacement? Many thanks indeed. ...

The wireless keyboards & mice work on batteries, try replacing the batteries first, if that doesn't work you may try with an USB(or PS2) replacement keyboard/mouse.

Mouse works, but not keybord. Had to elace batteries on keyboard now it doesn't work..I am using 'On-Sceen Keyoard'.Please help.

Presumably you have a wireless keyboard? I would suggest buying the cheapest USB keyboard for now and then try to get the other keyboard working.
Are batteries OK, any lights from keyboard, is wireless receiver in computer working (presuambly yes if same one as the mouse - if so then suggests the problem is with the keyboard).
Try removing and replacing all batteries - try new batteries.

CANT GET WIRELESS MOUSE TO WORK

Try changing with a new set of batteries. also try to reset the connection of the wireless mouse and keyboard. you can locate a connect button on both the reciever and wireless keyboard. press both of them together and release them. this would reset the connection. try doing the same for reciever and wireless mouse connect buttons. this should work. also check for any possible alignment issues.

Microsoft wireless multimedia keyboard 1.0A

I suppose you should reset the keyboard and mouse and maybe the access point itself. Try find small buttons on each devise and press them AT THE TIME. You may need somebody's help. Those buttos can by hidden under mouse and keyboard and should be on the top of the access point. This depend on the model, so please reffer to a manual.

MICROSOFT WIRELESS MULTIMEDIA KEYBOARD 1.1 > not working

I was just about to write "I have the same problem", but i think i fixed it!!!!

background: I move my wireless keybd/mouse between my desktop and laptop units.... All was fine until a few days ago when some update completely disabled my desktop... I think the wireless began malfunctioning about the same time.

Just now, I pressed the ?reconnect button? on the front of the keybd/mouse receiver then pressed the connect buttons on the back of each device and PRESTO!! the keybrd works!!!

I just typed this entire message with the wireless keybd.

I hope this helps someone
