Question about HTC Wildfire S Smartphone
Hey, A few months ago my phone got a little bit wet when i was driving my motorcycle and my pocket was wide opened.. I waited for it to dry, then i tried to boot it and there was that red light (next to the orange charging light) and it vibrated. The boot sound came too and home, list back, and search button were white as usual but the screen wasn't working.. Is there any (around 50euros) way to fix it??
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Well hope so you didn't damaged the sensors! try this : use the phone until battery is empty and switches off. then put it on the charger for 4 hours. If no joy,try different battery to make sure that device is not damaged and get a new battery.

call and get it replaced. DONT TELL them about the water. simply state it doesnt make calls and get them to send you a waranty replacement. It is free, but remember to tell them there is no damage to the phone, as long as the white dot is still white and the phone doesnt look physically damaged you are good to go

It actually is an awesome phone. Here is what I suggest:
Differently WinMo 6.5 won't do, I suggest either using Windows Phone 7 or Google Android. I personally prefer Android. There is a great site that will help you in getting Android or Windows Phone 7 on your HD2: http://www.xda-developers.com/
Just be weary that there is always risking when modifying your mobile. You will your warranty if you have one but in my opinion you will love the Android experience on your mobile.

Welcome to Fixya
This means that there is something sticking on the simcard bay. That is the reason why you are getting the error when you put in the simcard. This cause by water moisture or any foreign object went inside the phone. You might need to take apart the phone and blow compressed air to the board. Firmware/software reinstallation might be needed also. You might need assistance from phone tech if you are not aware on how to open the phone.
Thank you for using Fixya!
