Go to tools, Then open internet options. The first box you see will list the websites set to open when you open Internet Explorer. Just delete the ones you dont want.

Hope this helps!

I have a acer aspire 5050 laptop/notebook and everytime I try to watch a video on youtube or just serach the internet, it's slow and the wors, "low on disk space" pop up. I click the clean disk...

Acer partition thir drives as standard my computer and you should see a C drive and drive called data (probably E drive)...when the C drive is low on space windows doesn´t have enough room for a swap file and really slows up......move some of your less used files from My Documents to the Data drive by cuttting and pasting......Make sure you leave at least 700mb free on your C drive so windows can work normally
Also go into internet options in control panel in the general tab under browsing history click setting....where it says disk space to use lower the value to around ok and close window....this should free up a bit more disk space

Explorer problem

I suggest to restore the settings of your internet explorer to defaults. There could be bugs during your windows update.

1. Open internet explorer, go to tool --> Internet Options ---> Advanced tab ---> Reset.

Reset all the settings then restart your computer. In case you cannot open internet explorer because it will just give you a white blank page. try the following steps below.

1.1a Click Start -- type msconfig on start search box (for vista only). Click Run (for xp only). a pop up box window will show up (System utility configuration). Look for the tab Services.

Under services tab, put a check on the box that says "Hide all microsoft services" at the very bottom screen. Click apply then close. Restart the computer.

After restarting the computer follow step 1.
