If the display is bad or damaged the cost if it can be found will be greater than the cost of a brand new set--this is fatal in Plasma or LCD sets from a cost point of view.

This is a fault developing within the screen, the only remedy is to have the screen replaced, there is no exact answer to why this has happened, it is just the nature of a plasma screens make-up that sometimes a fault can develop like this within the characteristics the display

You need to (either or both) change from Shop setting to Home, and turn off Viera Link demo.
Go into the menu, choose set up and re set to shipping settings.
